  1. I'll go with Springer today!
  2. Dodgers came back late phew haha. Had them in a parlay with the D'Backs!
  3. Yeah in a clubhouse of 26 players + and coaches, training staff etc., doubt someone like Pham or a player who is considered a POS would even have an impact or get attention. I think a player like that would impact a basketball locker room more, given it's only a roster of 12 or so players.
  4. I had no issue with the team bringing back KK early in the offseason for CF depth and to get around 300-400 PA's as long if they also acquired a more offensively minded bat for a corner OF spot/DH but they never did that.
  5. I'll go with Babe if he's in the lineup
  6. Yeah I could also see him just making 10-12 really good starts and his arm falls off haha.
  7. He seems like an enigma to me every season.
  8. The Rays magic. Watch the Rays get a 2-3 WAR season from Littell this season and then his arm will fall off.
  9. Yeah Puk will be interesting to watch. Hopefully he bounces back from his first start. Worst case he's a very good bullpen arm. Marlins also rolling with Weathers in the rotation. He's only 24 which is crazy to think.
  10. Gurriel is slashing .462/.533/1.231 with 3 HR's and 8 RBI in his first three games this season haha.
  11. Jordan Hicks picked up the win in his first start of the season yesterday. Impressive outing only giving up three hits, a walk and a hit-by-pitch over five frames, while striking out 6. Will be interesting to see if he could become a reliable starter over a full season.
  12. You can't roll out that lineup on Day 3 of the season when you're planning on contending. Hopefully Clement gets more rope at 3B since we need to squeeze every ounce of offense from that position as possible. Don't want to see Turner ever playing 3B again unless its an emergency.
  13. Gausman on the bump, so lets hope for a series split. Bet the Jays for today!
  14. Astros pen could be their achilles heel this season. They did get Abreu back after his two game suspension, so that will be a big boost. Yankees always seem to get lucky early in the season with these kind of wins. Sucks because with Cole out for 2-3 months, they could have a hot month or two and still be in the thick of things when he gets back. Was hoping they could get buried in the division early. Wish the Jays could have signed Hoskins' as a DH but oh well.
  15. Kikuchi will strikeout 200 batters this season. Wouldn't surprise me if he's the Jays second best pitcher this season behind Gausman.
  16. If it was 2017/2018, rotation wouldn't be that bad. Severino looks cooked now.
  17. Could be a high scoring game if he's not on his game and with Lynn pitching for the Cards.
  18. Ernie Clement is pretty dreamy. On a more serious note, hope he can hit so we don't have to see IKF get 500 AB's at 3B this season.
  19. If the Jays could get a split down at the Trop, I'll be happy.
  20. I'll take KK for today.
  21. Atlanta exploded in the 7th inning yesterday. Adam Duvall had a big hit as well off the bench. Such a great lineup top to bottom. Sean Murphy left with an oblique injury yesterday.
  22. Would be nice if Nate Pearson can become a reliable high leverage arm for the Jays this season. See what he could do with Swanson and Romano on the IL.
  23. It's still early as they say! Only one game!
  24. Print your World Series tickets! Overall, great start to the season! Glad to see the bats rolling and hitting for power! Hopefully this lineup looks closer to 2021/2022 than 2023!
  25. Yeah exactly. Shapiro likely could stay here in Toronto for as long as he wants. When he wants to leave, he will leave whether if that's to transform and leave his mark on another team/organization or moving into the commissioner's office with the sights of taking over for Manfred down the road.
