  1. I said if the Jays are up big or down big. I don't care if I miss a HR from Vladdy or Bo when the team is up 7-8 runs or down 7-8 runs or a triple play. Especially if it's just regular season. Postseason different story. Even if the Jays are down by 3 or 4, I'll stay to the end.
  2. It's all the suits. Like the Platinums at Leafs games.
  3. I sometimes leave the game early if the Jays are up big or down big. If it is a close game different story. As well, it depends if its a weeknight game where I have to work the next day and catch a GO train or if its a weekend game where I plan on staying in the downtown core for a couple of hours after the game.
  4. There was a Leafs game at the Scotia Arena as well. Some people might live outside of the city, need to catch a GO Train and yes sometimes might have to leave early to beat the crowds, especially when the Dome was sold out. I don't think they missed much.
  5. April 8 Vladdy - 1 Point Bichette - 2 Points Turner - 2 Points Springer - 3 Points Schneider- 3 Points, Omar Kirk - 5 Points - Jonn Biggio - 5 Points - wilko, JaysBlue Kiner-Falefa - 7 Points Kiermaier - 7 Points The Bench (Any PH): 10 Points
  6. He's such an unlikeable player. Tough to root for as a fan. Still needs to grow up.
  7. Was referring to more of a guy like Teo Hernandez, O'Neill, Pederson, Duvall, Gallo etc. who could play a corner OF position and offer more pop on a short-term deal. Could have even created a viable platoon. Maybe Soler at 3 years for $42M would have been the exception. Hoskins or JDM would have had to DH. I wouldn't have handed $80M guaranteed to Bellinger.
  8. Would have rather have seen this team lose 9-2 instead of 9-8 lol. Someone on here mentioned that would happen, I think Stang haha. Joking aside, sucks when they put up 8 runs, Gausman isn't 100%. Would have been easy to pack it in, but glad to have seen some fight from the lineup in the late innings. Hopefully they win the series tomorrow and can go back to Toronto at .500!
  9. Yeah good idea. Saves posters from asking why so and so was banned if they missed what happened. Also, sets a precedent for future banning and others could see what could lead to a ban and for how long.
  10. Playing with house money after building up my account so not too worried.
  11. You're one of the most insufferable posters on this board.
  12. I think the Jays were better off rolling the dice on a player with more offensive upside, even if it meant a bit more risk. KK is definitely a nice player to have around, but this team would have benefited more having a player with some extra pop. Given KK's age, lack of offensive upside and likely decline, I wouldn't have been stressing if the Jays signed a corner OF with pop who could provide around 2 WAR versus the 2.8 WAR KK provided last year which was going to be tough to replicate anyways given the reasons I just mentioned. Jays had Varsho anyways who could have played CF.
  13. Really sucks as a baseball fan to watch so many elite arms drop like flies.
  14. I put $50 on the Jays today. You never get those odds when Gausman is on the mound.
  15. Hopefully the news is good regarding Spencer Strider when his MRI results come back. Would suck to learn on the same day that both him and Bieber have to get TJS.
  16. That would definitely be cool. Blue Jays/Tigers series would be great in the Postseason!
  17. Yeah he looked really good in his first two starts this season. Definitely a shocker.
  18. Blue Jays are a 1.95 underdogs today lol.
  19. Just saw on Twitter. That sucks and a huge blow for the Guardians. Hopefully they get Gavin Williams back soon. Looks like Carlos Carrasco will be sticking in their rotation longer now.
  20. He was a nice pickup by the Pirates. They definitely will trade him close to the deadline.
  21. Lmao you're such a tool. Cleveland actually has a very solid rotation - Bieber, Bibee, McKenzie, Allen and Williams (when he gets back). Heck, you can even argue it's a better rotation than the Blue Jays both in the short and long term lol. Give me those arms any day over the Jays aging arms! Cleveland also has a very solid BP. Lineup wise, lacks power and punch but heck at least their star players like J-Ram actually are reliable unlike some of the star players on the Jays. Tigers look like a team on the upswing. Have some nice arms in Skubal, Olson and Mize. Bullpen isn't that bad. Lineup has some holes, but some intriguing young pieces. Royals have a lot of solid young positional players. Bobby Witt Jr. looks like an AL MVP in the making. They have some nice young arms like Ragans, Marsh and Singer. They went out and added some vets this past offseason on short term deals like Wacha and Lugo for the rotation, Smith and Anderson for the BP and Renfroe and Frazier to their lineup. These aren't a bunch of crappy teams like you're suggesting. They definitely will be fun to watch this season and as a baseball fan looking forward to it.
  22. AL Central I think will be a fun division to watch. Really like the Tigers, Royals and Guardians as sleeper teams. Should be an interesting race.
  23. Hicks in his first two starts with the Giants: 0.75 ERA and an 11:1 K:BB through 12 innings.
  24. What did Connor do to get banned haha? L54 still banned as well damn.
