  1. Watch some of his highlight reels, alot of of his Ks are guys swinging at fastballs up at the shoulders too. Not taking away from his stuff, which is legit, but there's still a lot of free swingers in High A.
  2. You are correct on the Polar Bear Peyton WIlliams, the walking land mass is just coming back from injuries he sustained late last season in AA.
  3. Correct. Pinango is coming up. Lukes to 10-day
  4. Mailing stuff to players to sign is full cringe. Man up and send your kid to guilt him into signing it at the ballpark like everyone else
  5. True, but if youre getting it from a guy who is 8th on the depth chart... you're grading on a bit of a sliding scale.
  6. Since being sent to Buffalo, Little has pitched 7 scoreless innings, struck out 12 and walked 4. Also, 3-0 He'll be the new closer by June
  7. Its in the rulebook sir. Can't catch a ball with anything other than your glove or your bare hand. It's a dead ball in fair territory so... a hit.
  8. In ST he was back up to touching 95. Not sure what he is at sitting at though
  9. Just pull a John MacDonald and send Sosa himself back as the PTBNL. Is that still allowed?
  10. Varsho please (Which of course means Gimenez is going deep)
  11. Can't really be helped where they are in the standings given their injuries. There's only so much depth you can have before bending turns into breaking. So far, they've bent, but not broke which is encouraging. A decent 4 or 5 game winning streak or a winning 6-of-7 would help put the casuals at ease for sure. Are they below expectations? Sure. But the reality is, every team in the league has a 20 game stretch where they go 8-12 or 7-13 regardless of how great, good or bad they are. When it happens at the start of the season after coming as close as possible to a WS win, any faltering is going to be dissected to death like it means something that it probably doesn't Really need some BP consistency though. SP has been excellent. Offense is riding the BABIP/RISP train since the power hasn't really shown up yet. Defense has been uncharacteristically below expectations but not really concerned with that over the course of the long season.
  12. Nimmala went oppo taco yesterday for his 3rd HR. Avridge not so hot but the power still there
  13. Van is just humid and hot in the summer, ball doesnt fly as well. New Hampshire RF porch is 306 and only 353 to right centre. To say its lefty power friendly is an understatement. To put that in perspective, that's 8 feet shorter in RF and 43 feet shorter than Yankee Stadium's joke dimensions in the same spots.
  14. He's already ahead of them by a level, but thats close enough lol
  15. Wouldn't that be nice? Who would be their version of Craig Biggio's son? It really was about all 3 of them in the minors until Biggio shat the bed in the bigs by never swinging the bat.
  16. Confirmed. April 16, 2026 SS Juan Sanchez assigned to Dunedin Blue Jays from DSL Blue Jays Red. the next dynamic duo taking shape
  17. According to Gameday facts, Cease has faced 53 batters and not given up a single barreled ball
  18. I'll take Sanchez tonight
  19. April 8 versus Blowtani Springer (1) - mphenhef Varsho (1) Vlad (1) - Landry jesus (2) - Laika Kaz (2) - jonn Clement (3) Lukes (4)- John_Havok Gimenez (3) - Spanky Heineman (5) - Orgfiller Bench (10)
  20. Minor league thing but... the AA Fisher Cats scored 10 runs in inning with only 1 hit and no defensive errors. BB BB WP K SF (1-2) BB BB BB (2-2) HBP (3-2) WP (4-2) BB HBP (5-2) WP (6-2) BB BB (7-2) WP (8-2) 1B (10-2) K
  21. I can't believe you've done this. Now Gausman is gonna get hurt.
  22. I think he was 75 pitches in the Dunedin start so... yeah he's close enough for a bulk role at minimum.
  23. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. Sometimes... it rains. Think about that.
  24. Thanks. So May 2 is the league start date this year, another month to go before box score hunting commences.
