  1. I don’t look at it the same way you do. Im not concerned about replacing people in a hierarchical sense, my concern is maximizing what is available. I don’t think spending 15M+ on a 32 year old reliever is particularly efficient, especially when you consider guys who sign for like 4M are capable of producing the same
  2. At this point you aren’t going to sign anyone who is 100% reliable or someone you’re going to hand the reigns to and say the 9th inning is yours Better to just find someone who can get both righties and lefties out and lengthen the pen and acquire in July if it’s an issue Im pretty confident in the pen arms honestly
  3. Even Thielbar or Rogers or Weaver
  4. Me too I’m cool with a decent reliever and one of Bo/Tucker Really couldn’t ask for more than that
  5. They've added two starters and will presumably land another bat. Things are going just fine
  6. Ya thought the same I don’t think 3/45 would’ve been too bad. I’m not crazy about going higher than that personally for any reliever really
  7. Jays don’t need a “closer” Just get another arm that you can realistically expect to pitch in 7/8/9th inning
  8. Okay Dodgers need to fuçk off with the sign and trade bullshìt
  9. And really they should know by now if they’re willing to meet his number or not It’s also inherently risky to commit to an SP like that. I’d rather build my team around a 400M hitter than pitcher
  10. Gotta look past 2026. Does it really matter if they’re division champs next season and Skubal walks? If I was a Tiger fan it sure wouldn’t Or you bring in Sheehan +++ and distribute that money to Michael King and Cody Bellinger with Kevin McG waiting and a bolstered minor league roster
  11. I think the Tigers are nuts if they don’t deal Skubal. The haul would be massive and even if you’re willing to commit 350M or whatever why not acquire a bunch of pieces from the trade and then spend this winter?
  12. Cute that Pittsburgh made an offer 😂
  13. Now the dominos can begin to fall Kyle Tucker come on down
  14. I’m sure between Campbell and Mayer they can use one of them as a big piece. I forgot about his extension but it’s 7M I guess the Jays have a logical fit with Barger too. Hard to imagine a deal getting done without him in it
  15. Red Sox seem like the best fit honestly They can offer Campbell as a centrepiece and immediate replacement plus pitching
  16. Hope we get some action these next few days at the Winter Meetings
  17. Doesn’t every team have full rosters at every level?
  18. Lmao Boob Nightengale had to edit this tweet to include HOPEFUL 😂
  19. I just mean pick your favourite three. Whatever three you want maybe it’s not enough but they’re not getting 100M of surplus value from any team. Ketel Marte won’t fetch four top 100 prospects Im confident in saying that
  20. I’d give up any 3 prospects in the system for Marte and then sign Tucker and a reliever
  21. Your savant page would be full of red
  22. Bassitt will definitely have starting options. I was going to say that Scherzer starting on the IL would be the only way but I just don’t think the juice is worth the squeeze honestly
  23. I don’t see how Scherzer or Bassitt fit on the roster at this point. It looks good on paper but you have to consider a) how do you they approach spring training? If you want them to be starters they will have be built up b) if they’re built up as starters are you just going to throw them into single inning appearances? c) who are you optioning? Who are those guys better than?
