  1. Sell sell sell! Giles should return a top 100 guy himself.
  2. Who is we? The rest of us will take care of it my political ally
  3. I agree. Just hand the team over to Jimmy, he has as good a track record as anybody playing in leagues and he's done really well. The DDL is supposed to be the class of the forum. Having inactive owners doesn't do a great job holding it up to that standard.
  4. Still have my username? I’m in
  5. Nice I like the deal for you. The fact he’s with the Rays is a huge plus, you just know they’re going to turn him into a stud. Josh Hader 2.0
  6. Today is the day I begin climbing out of the basement. Calling up my boy Yordan Alvarez.
  7. Wanna make a deal?? I don’t need any of the guys you listed unfortunately
  8. Ya it really is. I’ve scoured the league a few times trying to find potential fits, but sometimes it’s best to just put them out in the open and see if anyone else can find a fit.
  9. With the emergence of Ramon Laureano I’m going to need to move one of my CF, either AJ Pollock or Mitch Haniger. Both are on the DL right now, so I’m not in a huge rush. Seeking SP or RP in return. Would consider prospects or picks too
  10. Jays are excited Vladdy is headed to the HR Derby to further enhance tank nation. Guys turn into pumpkins after competing.
  11. Yordan Alvarez is not a top 100 prospect anymore
  12. Hahaha Keith Law is such a pussy. Big bark and no bite, soft as puppy s*** in July. Stick to your s***** evaluation process Keith.
  13. Atkins always says the things you’d like to hear (development, depth, work ethic, strong farm, etc) but eventually results need to follow. I’ve been a strong supporter so far, but next year will be interesting. There will likely be pressure from ownership to not be one of the worst teams in baseball, and still a lot of questions marks up and down the 40 man. It would be nice to see them acquire some ML talent in exchange for eating a bad contract which could help expedite the rebuild. I don’t want to be hoping for a top 5 pick again in a years time.
  14. Said it earlier, Sanchez is a non tender candidate after this year. What’s the appeal here? He can’t stay healthy and when he does he’s s***. He’s one of the worst pitchers in baseball and will continue to be without a fundamental change to his skill set. I don’t even think he can succeed in the pen, other than being an average middle reliever. He doesn’t get swinging strikes, he doesn’t get ground balls at a sexy clip like he did earlier in his career, he walks like double the amount of batters he needs to in order to be successful and his self awareness is virtually non existent. I can’t wait until he’s gone from this team.
  15. Lol that's insane.
  16. Kepler was a pretty obvious breakout candidate
  17. It’s a comp based on objective data Boxy. Those were the names that were left. Those were the results. Kris Bryant’s O-Swing% is 28%. They are very different players
  18. If Derek Fisher is the headliner of a Marcus Stroman trade this team will never sniff the playoffs under this management. Gross
  19. LGJ's way to cement himself on the roster was to play several positions adequately, 2B/3B/SS/OF. Right now he might be a league average hitter who is stuck in LF, and he's far from the prototype out there. He's going to have to prove he can either play on the infield (while not going mental at the dish) or that he can play CF (maybe? I have no idea but probably not) to become a long term piece.
  20. Sanchez is an awful pitcher. He isn't anything more than a long reliever or mop up duty guy on a bad team. This guy isn't worth f*** all in a trade so put him in the pen where he belongs and let him get used to it. He can blame blisters all he wants, but at the end of the day he has a 5BB/9 which will never cut it as a starter, and makes it hard to do as a reliever unless you're striking out a pile of guys which he never will. He is a legitimate non tender candidate at the end of the year as far as I'm concerned, I've never understood the length of rope he's been given by this organization under two different regimes.
