    You don’t have to, but that doesn’t mean it’s not the right move. That’s how you send a message to all 25 guys that nobody is above anyone else. Snitker is paid to lead these guys and that’s exactly what he’s doing here. You let the inmates run the asylum and things can go south pretty quick.

    Hoping Vlad's first taste of failure (relatively, of course) motivates him in the offseason. His athleticism isn't the issue, but being better prepared physically can only make him better on both sides of the ball.

    Well not sure what more a guy is supposed to do than make 29 starts last year and 22 so far this year to prove that he’s healthy. Any pitcher might spend half the year on the DL. You’re healthy until you’re not, and unfortunately there’s no way to predict when you’re going to go on the DL

    Zack Wheeler and Kyle Gibson for me please. Those two would go a long ways to solidifying the rotation Wheeler Gibson Shoemaker Thornton Pearson Murphy Bouricki? Kay Merryweather Waguespack Not pretty, but at least you can envision a path to that becoming an average rotation. Of course, the bullpen is still a tire fire and needs to be addressed
