  1. Said it earlier, Sanchez is a non tender candidate after this year. What’s the appeal here? He can’t stay healthy and when he does he’s s***. He’s one of the worst pitchers in baseball and will continue to be without a fundamental change to his skill set. I don’t even think he can succeed in the pen, other than being an average middle reliever. He doesn’t get swinging strikes, he doesn’t get ground balls at a sexy clip like he did earlier in his career, he walks like double the amount of batters he needs to in order to be successful and his self awareness is virtually non existent. I can’t wait until he’s gone from this team.
  2. Lol that's insane.
  3. Kepler was a pretty obvious breakout candidate
  4. It’s a comp based on objective data Boxy. Those were the names that were left. Those were the results. Kris Bryant’s O-Swing% is 28%. They are very different players
  5. If Derek Fisher is the headliner of a Marcus Stroman trade this team will never sniff the playoffs under this management. Gross
  6. LGJ's way to cement himself on the roster was to play several positions adequately, 2B/3B/SS/OF. Right now he might be a league average hitter who is stuck in LF, and he's far from the prototype out there. He's going to have to prove he can either play on the infield (while not going mental at the dish) or that he can play CF (maybe? I have no idea but probably not) to become a long term piece.
  7. Sanchez is an awful pitcher. He isn't anything more than a long reliever or mop up duty guy on a bad team. This guy isn't worth f*** all in a trade so put him in the pen where he belongs and let him get used to it. He can blame blisters all he wants, but at the end of the day he has a 5BB/9 which will never cut it as a starter, and makes it hard to do as a reliever unless you're striking out a pile of guys which he never will. He is a legitimate non tender candidate at the end of the year as far as I'm concerned, I've never understood the length of rope he's been given by this organization under two different regimes.
  8. I always thought Jim would be the next logical candidate for the DDL. Welcome Jimbo
  9. Ya with my signing bonus I've been living on a yacht in the Caribbean for the last several years. Recently upgraded because I still have so much money from my signing bonus I don't know what to do with it.
  10. I imagine you’re 73 living in a retirement complex and have been waiting to post this vindication for years now. This will be the highlight of 2019, nice.
  11. Does anyone know what’s happening with Brendan McKay on Yahoo? Is he going to be two separate entities like Ohtani? f*** are they stupid, they only have him in the system as a 1B
  12. Joey Votto is starting to show signs of life
  13. I never thought Baez as an elite player was sustainable, but now he’s a superstar. Cubs are lucky he blossomed from a glove first guy into a middle of the order masher.
  14. Jimmy just lost Corey Seager bet he’s glad he didn’t move Polanco
  15. I promoted Jordan Alvarez
  16. TIL the first thing that happens when you report to minor league camp is they sit everyone down and instruct them to keep their hands close to their bodies. All the teams. Everyone must learn this first step on their pursuit to becoming an Ex Player
  17. Nice. Metafour is right, getting busted probably allowed him to work on launch angle and better contact
  18. Can you please tell me who they are?
  19. This sounds like somebody’s half cut uncle sitting in the stands watching his nephew’s PeeWee game on Canada Day long weekend
  20. 1/10 would not bang amirite
  21. Can’t wait for B-Bi to get rolling!!!
  22. Colin Poche Yandy Diaz Omar Narvaez I enjoyed my haul out of the Waiver draft this year
