    Not really. The incompetence by everyone involved is staggering and I believe that's what has people up in arms the most. You've got to know who butters your bread, and it this point its Vlad and Vlad alone. The PR nightmare is well deserved

    Innocent until proven guilty. The way the justice system was designed to work. Charlie Ring on the other hand will not be happy. Now if the video surfaces and confirms what the "witnesses" have alleged, that's a whole different story.

    Correlation is not causation. The team is awful, it's not Martinez's fault. He came to the org has a highly regarded coach too.

    It could very well be true. I don't think they instructed him to sit Vladdy, but they should've been keen enough to make sure he was in the lineup returning from a road trip on a holiday Monday.

    I'll base a lot of this season off of what happens at the deadline. If they're dead set on moving Giles and Stroman then the returns better be good because those are the only two guys on the 25 man at this point who are even worthy of returning calls on. I'd love to see them get creative and take on a bad contract to land a big league piece. I have no idea from who, but that's not my job. If we go into 2020 without Stroman and a bunch of Thornton/Borucki types I will not be impressed.

    Sorry everybody but I'm not buying the argument that these scheduled off days are crucial towards the development of future HOF Guerrero Jr. This was nothing more than a massive brain fart at the hands of everybody involved in the decision making process from the top down. When the team is this bad PR is an important part of the organization. Load management doesn't happen in absolutes where he HAD to sit yesterday. This wasn't a suggestion from the uber smrt sports science team. They made a mistake and it won't happen again by the sounds of things.

    Well that’s a fairly derpy analysis, most people didn’t expect much of anything from Teoscar or Billy. Jansen has been s***** as first full season catchers at the big league level usually are. They’re not wrong but their reasoning is. And for Pete’s sake if you’re getting paid to write about pro athletes spell their f***ing name right.

    Agreed. I own both in another league and fully expected to have to activate both of them. It's the way it should be, but wasn't convinced they would see it that way
