    It’s crazy but Shi was saying the Jays clear plan this offseason was to address the pitching and that they were comfortable with their position player group even if Bo leaves I think that’s insane but that’s what he was saying

    I do not care about the years and the AAV coming in at 26M is honestly as good as anyone could’ve imagined of course there’s volatility in his profile and he will have his share of clunkers based on his history But he’s the type of guy you roll out in the playoffs and expect to shove for 5 or 6 innings. We got really really lucky this post season with Yesavage becoming basically Dylan Cease and Max Scherzer limping his way through two must win games

I don’t disagree But you are acting like the Jays have insulted Bo Bichette by doing their due diligence on players available. Like they’re on tinder before actually breaking up with Bichette Spanky said it best that they aren’t going to get caught with their dick in their hand while Bo signs elsewhere and Marte gets traded

    I would do this. I am going to cheerlead trading prospects this offseason to add major league pieces especially ones on great contracts Fangraphs ranked him 31st in their trade value rankings between Lindor and Kirk. With Barger there is real platoon risk (69 wrc+ vs lefties this season) and Nimmala has a wide range of outcomes that could be anywhere from first division regular to a guy who never sticks in the bigs

    The Dodgers are the class of the league and maybe the four major sports because they spend more than anyone else and are the best developmental org in baseball I don’t understand why there is this much resistance to what you’re saying. I thought those points were quite commonly accepted Also you’re right about the 160 inning benchmark too. Over the last 5 seasons there’s like ten examples of teams that have at least 3 starters throw 160+ innings
