  1. I love the keywords in his bullet points... - Keeping up on the science. - Analyzing the mechanics. - Refining Algorithms. - Staying in touch with researchers. - Building a library. - Keeping people informed. Prestige Worldwide
  2. I hang on every word that O'Leary tweets. I love his content. The combination of pervasive, arrogant pseudoscience and baseball twitter is just enthralling. This offseason was particularly entertaining because numerous MLB stars publicly trashed him or otherwise embarrassed him on twitter. McCarthy and Donaldson chiefly. Every week he seems to have a funny run in with someone like Eno Sarris. I can't wait to read The Arm.
  3. I took some grainy stills out of the 30 fps video that I took of my tube TV and yeah, there is definitely an iK. Really unfortunate. Good kid. Playing with fire.
  4. Oh, like the numbers weren't enough. Aiken Kolek Rodon Schwarber lmao
  5. - If Storen can't warm up, not come into a game, and then pitch the next day... then he basically can't be an MLB reliever. They shouldn't (and wouldn't) have traded for him if that was true. - They really did not need to see what they had in Leon in that high leverage situation. One relief outing teaches you nothing about a guy anyway. If they DFA him now because he blew it today, that's worse than simply DFAing him without having a look.
  6. A strain is a tear. His body is breaking down from a combination of PEDs and an extremely violent swing. o/u 80.5 games this year probably
  7. Just quit your job and never speak to these carpool people again solved
  8. Storen has one year of control. Ride him into the f***ing ground! Oh man baseball
  9. Yeah I figure that he wanted to get as many relievers as he could into the first series. He probably felt bad about having not called on several of them yet. lol
  10. You're getting old and stupid
  11. Richard Griffin is a gift Richard Griffin ‏@RGriffinStar 1m1 minute ago Hmm. #bluejays take only Joe Biagini to Montreal from entire bullpen then 4 days in can't use Cecil, Storen, Osuna for last 6 outs. #dresses
  12. Why let Cecil face Forsythe yesterday when Chavez was warm? Then he immediately brings in Chavez after Forsythe homers. Why have Leon pitch in a high leverage situation when Storen and Osuna didn't pitch yesterday and there is an off day tomorrow? <---- egregious I like Gibbons' personality but he's a liability.
  13. Rays v Jays is almost always close and entertaining. Good beisbol
  14. Things that are obvious after this series: - Pillar sucks again - Colabello is a pumpkin - Sanchez is an Ace - Stroman is better than Pedro - The umps and MLB have it out for the Blue Jays - Gibby is a misogynist - The Blue Jays aren't the same offensive team as last year
  15. You are the expert so you get 100% deference from me. I think Syndergaard's hair looks super luxurious like a shampoo commercial and also kind of regal but what do I know. For the record, here he is with short hair: http://img.bleacherreport.net/img/images/photos/003/535/831/905ae23ec508929a1a667d1d8b039099_crop_exact.jpg?w=1500&h=1500&q=85
  16. Yeah. Martin not getting 4 calls down in the zone that Casali is getting = basically the whole difference.
  17. http://www.brooksbaseball.net/pfxVB/fastmap.php?pitchSel=all&game=gid_2016_04_06_tormlb_tbamlb_1/&sp_type=3&s_type=7&cache=1 Here is the plot vs RHB (which is all that matters).
  18. Sanchez will never have that flow though http://www.sportsonearth.com/assets/images/3/7/8/154935378/cuts/GettyImages_493290798_7npirrpi_bdpvxw2m.jpg
  19. Yeah I don't particularly like either of them. Should trade for Tex after the Yankees bomb, lol. Carlos Santana only has 2016 + a team option left on his deal. Someone like John Jaso would have fit the team well. I don't see many trade fits on teams that will very likely be sellers. The Braves can have whatever they want for Freddie Freeman.
  20. I think it's the type of thing that you can't really evaluate with eyeballs, at least not in a small sample (a few months). Colabello has made some diving plays but were his jumps bad? Smoak unquestionably has better hands around the bag. Both of them are better than Edwin though, probably. You're probably talking about marginal differences either way. They should just treat it like a straight offensive platoon for now and ignore defense.
  21. Yeah he's definitely the worst hitter in any lineup without Goins. Baserunning value might make him a slightly better offensive player than Smoak though.
  22. Maintained velocity all night too http://www.brooksbaseball.net/pfxVB/speed.php?pitchSel=592717&game=gid_2016_04_05_tormlb_tbamlb_1/&batterX=&innings=yyyyyyyyy&sp_type=1&s_type=&league=mlb&pnf=&zlpo=
  23. Well if we're being sensible, it probably didn't. Need a much larger sample
