    Pillaged the minors, stuff was way up in 2014 before he got hurt (always called projectable). Possible 60/70/50 profile with plus pitchability, if everything bounces back. Steamer darling.

    Yeah but he made 25 starts with peripherals at his career levels and an average velocity that was the same as his 8 year average. I feel like if his HR rate was league average instead of a fluky 16%, he probably goes 100-150 spots ago.

    Bautista is a legend so it doesn't really matter if he gets traded tomorrow. A Bautista jersey is timeless at this point. Do people look stupid walking around in Delgado and Stieb jerseys? No... Do you want a jersey you can wear proudly 20 years from now? Yes

    Actually by the book you would plug them in the 1, 2, and 4 slots. Then Martin/Colabello in the 3 hole (5th best hitter) and Tulo 5th (4th best hitter). #3 is where the 5th best hitter goes because they come up a lot with 2 outs, nobody on. Not ideal for a high walk bopper like Jose. Bautista Donaldson Martin/Cola EE Tulo (then 6-9 in order of talent)

    EE is as good as them. The three are pretty hard to pick apart, offensively. I'd probably rank them EE-JB-JD just on pure hitting skill (expected wOBA). But, hairs apart.

    Preternatural hitting skills and youth paint a projected outcome distribution with an inordinately high chance of above-average / star player performance, even if the mean is only something close to average, methinks. Kind of like the MLB level scouting version of Nomar Mazara...

    Nice to see that Yahoo has added absolutely nothing, yet again. In all my time playing Yahoo I think they've had exactly two changes. They went from a white to a black design a few years ago, and then one or two years ago the big leap back to a white UI. That might be it. Oh, NA slots.
