You state facts, but even with the lovely wOBAs he was a guy that couldn't find it in himself to yank 20 over the fence, and he's probably done stealing double digit bases. There's some inherent risk in the basic statistical profile in a fantasy sense. No idea what type of player he will be production wise. All we really know is that he has a special hitting ability and obviously some raw juice - which is all that can be said about a lot of top hitting prospects, like his teammate C.Seags.

I know Brett Anderson is fringe 20 team talent but finding out that he has a bulging disk right after trading Iglesias+Hendricks+Manaea would have been a bit of a dick punch.

*Pweeg There are a lot of things to dislike about him: injury risk, personality, mechanics, home park, race. The level of risk with Yazl is probably not much different than the risk of any top hitting prospect.

You guys are smart. But I guess given the hint there really was only two feasible answers (Manaea/Kopech both work). My SP depth would have been gutted.

My offer was three pitchers. Only one of them was on the farm. I'm not sure why anybody would be down on Turner. He has a broad skill set and probably enough power for Jimmy Rollins type fantasy production. I would say that I have 2 or 3 prospects better than Zimmer. Nothing close to Reed though, obviously. Zimmer goes in the Marisnick bucket for me. The whiff in 2015 was real.

Probably a fair trade. Not sure which side I would prefer. I'm surprised KK traded Reed. Seemed like he was pretty married to AJ. For some reason I don't really like Zimmer.

The value of MLB.tv seems to go way up when you will actually use it on multiple devices. Being able to stream games on the PS4, laptop, or phone is just so nice. It also helps that it comes with At Bat (which I usually buy anyway for $20) and that I don't have cable or satellite.

If they asked JB to play CF part of my would expect him to refuse at this point. Alford could also start in AA so there's an off chance that he's factoring into the depth chart sooner rather than later

Zeke! Really though the depth is fine IMO. K f***ing P will play 162 anyway. I think Pompey probably does break with the team, either winning the LF job on merit or by default when Saunders can't hold up through spring.
