In addition to coming back from TJS, Hoff is getting his first taste of pro-ball, and on top of that, he really has barely pitched with this type of stuff, because he didn't have it during his first two years of college. I'm not surprised at all that he's taking some lumps in the FSL right now. He might take longer to develop than people think.

Still doesn't even have 30 innings. One big K game and his rate could look fine. I wouldn't freak out just YET. Maybe next week though.

What about him? Hunter was never a ranked prospect and only sat around 91 as a starter.

Who knows. Likely just command issues right now though. Trouble not grooving the FB; trouble getting the out pitches near the plate.

I don't even watch the games. The box scores could have been done by nearly any SP in pro baseball, given enough luck in such a small, 3-4 week sample size.

It helps the team if they can manage to momentarily remove their front office heads from their front office anuses, and call up a SP who is not below replacement level. Batt Moyd would do nicely.
