Yeah it's borderline. His organizations have been pretty aggressive with him. Went from the Dominican Summer league directly to the Midwest League, where he was the youngest position player. Now he's basically the youngest player in the Florida State League. I think he's a better prospect at this point than, say, Clint Frazier, who used to be my man-crush (now it's Nomar Mazara...).

Not sure what KK is talking about with the cutdown and trading picks. This is the way we've always done it. You're still allowed to trade picks during the draft, the trade just has to be 1:1 in terms of minor league assets, so that nothing gets "cut" during the draft. This way, everybody in the universe is either draft eligible or owned during the entire draft. Also, it removes some confusion and processing for the Darrells and friends, since there is less retarded wheeling and dealing. Furthermore, there is no such thing as unnecessary anal.
