The Blue Jays will have basically no holes on offense now. K f***ing P has 1.5 fWAR in 73 games - 4th best on the team. So nice of him to fill the hole left by Pompey. With an 89 wRC+ and extremely positive baserunning, he really hasn't been a hole in the lineup. The only issues are on the defensive side now: LF - awful SS - not good backup C - garbage (hard to complain about this though). Would be nice to keep everyone healthy and then replace Carrera with a spry Saunders. -
Pretty excited to see Alford with a clean slate in A+. Wipe away all of those weird, exciting, confusing BB%, K%, and BABIP numbers, and let us see where he really is as a hitter. Hit some dingerz, Tony.

Desmond was a s***** major leaguer for 2 full seasons before something clicked, and even when he was good, the profile always smelled like a potential quick decline. I wouldn't be shocked if he was just suddenly done.

I have no idea how good Brentz' stuff is, but the fact that I have no idea how good it is tells me that it's *retarded* to even mention Betances. I'm guessing Betances sits at a higher velocity than Brentz has ever touched Betances throws 100 with an 80 grade out pitch, lol

I hate that they're just replacing 4on4 with 5 minutes of 3on3. They should have done 5 minutes of 4on4 and then dropped down to 3on3 for another 5. Or, if the goal was the have less shootouts, get rid of the point system entirely. Wins and losses - no more points! The NHL is both progressive and stupid, sometimes.
