  1. Great comp. The resemblance is uncanny. The funny thing is that Doc had the prototypical pitcher's body, and Stroman is (almost) the exact opposite.
  2. A Butt Stallion
  3. http://www.fangraphs.com/statss.aspx?playerid=1303&position=P Doc 6.93 K/9 1.94 BB/9 54.1% GB 3.39 FIP/ERA Stro 7.28 K/9 1.92 BB/9 54.7% 2.93-3.43 FIP/ERA The way he pitches reminds me so much of Doc too. Multiple fastballs that move, can spot them on either corner moving either way, great breaking ball, can throw a changeup too. He's like Doc reincarnate, into a little black dude.
  4. Could also split PPP into PPG and PPA
  5. I don't think we necessarily have to add a skater stat. Adding FW could be kind of annoying because you'll feel like you have to fill most of your F and RW/LW slots with real life centremen
  6. So since there were a couple people that were semi-vocal about not making stat changes for the current year right after the waiver draft, which has obvious merit, shutouts won't be removed until next season, right?
  7. yes yes yes yes
  8. DIPS dogmatist, lol
  9. It's new(ish): http://blogs.twincities.com/twins/2015/05/20/twinsights-ervin-santanas-penalty-includes-postseason-ban/
  10. You also grabbed Zeigler and Buehrle, but then I think you let Buehrle get away and traded for him later. So you somehow got 5 productive players in the waiver draft but conveniently told 3 of them to f*** off in short order. Brilliant
  11. yeah wanna pay the sticker price for the #1 player in fantasy this year?
  12. Last year it wasn't! 1-2 was Tomas and Souza. The best players taken in the waiver draft were scattered veterans, Buchholz, Turner, Revere, A-Rod, Familia, etc., and the best *new* player was Kang who went 5th. Souza could still be a monster but Tomas is garbage, obviously.
  13. My playoff waiver draft spoils are like a who's-who of 2016 sleepers: Tommy Pham Brandon Drury Preston Tucker Wily Peralta Rubby De La Rosa need to trade legit vets to make room for them all!
  14. Yeah that's a terrible injury. Remember when Stephen Drew blew up his leg and it completely altered/destroyed him as a player?
  15. It's in the realm of possibility but it's much more likely that he'll be closer to league average. I wonder if Eric Thames will come over and be a top 10 waiver draft target! He's better than Byung Ho Park in literally every way, including race.
  16. No, it held steady while his BB rate plummeted. Pirates modified his 2 strike approach and altered his leg kick a bit I think, which helped his K rate from going up in MLB.
  17. Hard to imagine a 1B who strikes out more than once per game in Korea being able to translate to the majors.
  18. Kenta Maeda getting posted, maybe?
  19. Two bronze medals in three years. I probably value each of them more than any league win I've ever had.
  20. We could be witnessing the beginning of a five year dynasty. Nobody has a SP core like Silvergun's. Few have a hitting core that rivals his. Oh, and he also has a half-decent farm. Truly terrifying. Not sure why he's so salty.
  21. How much did you get for them?

    this surprises me
  23. Ouch, double championship loss for you this week. You must be gutted.
