Yeah...I'm gonna go ahead and say I'm not yet convinced Thames is more than a platoon DH. My guess is he'll pop 30 HRs this year and have an OBP that's barely over .300 -

So, trade them in their primes, giving up on this season, and then handcuff the team with large contracts to pitchers in their 30s. Good stuff.

That's a rather pessimistic view. I'd rather just continue enjoy watching him pitch and see where the season takes us.

Estrada worked the outside half of the plate beautifully in that Schoop at-bat. That changeup is straight up sexy.

Easy to laugh off maybe, but a lot of Benintendi's value depends on what he does this season. He's in a very similar position to where Brett Lawrie was following 2011. Top prospect who comes up for a couple months and looks like a stud. People were putting Lawrie on the same tier as Trout at that point. Obviously, the 2012 season made that look ridiculous. Benintendi could be a star, but he isn't yet.
