    Honestly having a full time DH is dumn unless you have a truly elite bat like an Edwin, JDM, etc. Otherwise it should be used as a spare slot in the lineup.

    I rate them about the same, but Reynolds is made worse by having more exposure on national broadcasts. I shudder to think of the younger generation of fans being misled by his moronic analysis. Edit: Not to mention he's one of the commentators in The Show and he's just as f***ing stupid as in real life, so I guess points for realism there.

    Lol what's with Boxy sucking off Greg Bird ITT? The guy has 348 PAs in his career, take it easy.

    Hate when people cite Jamie Moyer as a precedent to say that anyone who throws mid 80s can be a passable major league pitcher. Moyer was an incredible anomaly. It's like putting Greg Maddux comps on any prospect with a lousy fastball and good command.

    This is just sad to me. Fangraphs is supposed to be about objective analysis and intelligent discussion, and then there's this author who responds to criticism with nothing but a collection of reactionary cliches.
