It's just that he's normally a good defensive player yet he couldn't seem to make a half-decent throw to first today. There were like three routine plays where he just half-assed the throw and had to get saved by Hosmer.

That team is becoming more and more interesting. Their outfield is fantastic (Yelich quietly approaching a 5 WAR season at age 22) and their pitching is looking pretty solid. Cosart was a nice pickup and has pitched well down the stretch for them. Their infield does need some work though, and also I wish they would ditch the neon orange jerseys.

Marcell Ozuna has some serious power. Hit one off the center field scoreboard in Milwaukee a couple days ago and just now went to the opposite field, second deck.

Highlights here and there are amusing, but I can't sit through a whole game listening to him. He distracts from the action on the field and makes the broadcast about himself, which no play by play man should do. He's just a s***** commentator.

Wow, raysjays right on the mark. This is what the majority of fans expected for this year. As usual there was a chance the team would contend if some things broke right (which they were, for a short while, getting everyone's hopes up) but really it was most likely going to be a middle of the pack team. The season was essentially decided by management's refusal to make improvements in the offseason, and then again at the trade deadline. For me, the way this season has played has been far less disappointing than last year.

I generally consider them about average, but the play by play guys' voice is kind of annoying and of course the homerism is a little more grating when I'm watching as a Blue Jays fan.
