I don't understand the Walker hate. Hutchison has pitched to expectations. Buehrle is Buehrle. Dickey is a 40-years old with a history of back pain and no stuff to speak of. Sanchez is showing what happens when you take a pitcher with no control and no tangible minor league success and throw him in a major league rotation. What exactly was Walker supposed to do here? The pitching staff sucks. -
That's weird. I dropped Whitley for Despaigne just after midnight last night because I wanted tonight's start, and yahoo timestamped it 5:18 AM for some reason. I figured I'd drop Despaigne this morning for Norris/Williams and still get tonight's start in, but apparently that won't happen.

Miller would be perfect here. Average SS defender, maybe a bit above, and could presumably play 2B as well. Perfect bench infielder until Reyes is gone/starter while he's hurt. I wonder how intent Seattle is on wasting him in LF. They've actually been DHing him too, lol.

The Mariners have apparently decided to put Brad Miller on the Dustin Ackley program. When you have an average+ defending middle infielder with a league average bat, the obvious play is to move them to a corner OF position. What a terrible org.
