Yeah, I missed out on his great April and May. Got him just in time for his awful last month and season-ending surgery.

His last two weeks have been weird. Power has come back with 8 doubles and 2 homers for a 156 wRC+ in May, but it's come with a 37% K-rate. I'd be more excited if this had happened with a K-rate close to his career average.

I could see the Cubs into it. Baez is interesting because he suxxxxx, but it's easy to see how a team could still really like him.

Too much for Niese. I could see Niese to the Cubs for a lesser prospect or two though.

d'Arnaud has established himself as at least a league average catcher and Syndergaard is up in the rotation. Meanwhile RA Dickey looks finished as a useful starter.

Yeah, but 12 innings. Command was a huge issue for Betances earlier this year until it wasn't anymore. Also, it's pretty uncouth to take such glee in the perceived trading of a lemon to someone else. Only permissible in the case of a dual exchange of lemons.

I still don't think Cishek is hurt. He's been sitting 91 over his last few outings. A tough 12 inning stretch is just very magnified for relievers because it happens over the course of a month.
