It's actually going to be interesting to see how the Jays handle their bullpen over the next few years. Garcia, Mayza and Richards are free agenta after 2024 Romano, Green, Swanson, and Cabrera after 2025 Will be interesting if Ross throws FA money to keep the gang together, or if he'll trust himself to turn over the entire bullpen. I have a really hard time seeing Romano extened

Padres just look like a incomplete team. They have a bunch of luxury pieces, but then also don't really have a 4th or 5th starter, a LF, or a CF. And they're still playing Cronenworth out of position. Their 3 bullpen acquisitions only cost like a combined 8M this year though, so it's not like that would have allowed them to fill holes.

Trade Espinal for a high minors arm with velo and a couple options. Bring in Adam Duvall or Grichuk to platoon with Kiermaier. Maybe have a look at a 5th starter if there's still a few pennies left under the cushions.

I still think they're going to add another OF. The projected bench is a bit awkward right now. You have Jansen, then probably Biggio, Clement and Espinal, who kind of bring similar skill sets to the table. Trading one of those guys and bringing in a speedy 4th OF/pinch runner type would complete the roster. Even someone like Adam Duvall is still a good fit. -
How many holes are left on the 40-man at this point? - Wes Parsons (probably removed when the Rodriguez signing is made official). - Otto Lopez That's maybe it?

There's a lack of elite talent, but the team is really f***ing deep: - Jansen/Clement/Espinal/Biggio on the bench with guys like Barger, Martinez, Lukes, Horwitz optionable at AAA. - A loaded MLB bullpen with a bunch of interesting arms also on the 40-man: Danner, Francis, Macko, Little, Pop, Zulueta - One of the best 5-man rotations in the league, with Tiedemann, White, Rodriguez, Espino, Francis all providing depth A couple spots on the 40-man that should be replaced, but this is a deep roster.

M's look pretty dumb for trading Suarez for nothing then paying a big premium for Polanco to fill the empty 3B spot. DiPoto seems to just kind of do things without any kind of plan
