I held until yesterday when reports came out that he wasn't responding well to treatment and Pittsburgh has no idea when he'll be back. It sucks because he's been great all year and is an easy keeper, but a playoff team can't really stash an injured reliever during their run. Yahoo lets you IR players with day-to-day injured status for hockey, and this capability should have been added for baseball years ago.
Yeah, it benefits playoff teams, but I don't think spittin actually intended to set it up this way, and I've never played in a dynasty that locked the rosters of eliminated teams. I don't see the harm in changing it now.
