    It’s still not obvious to me that Ross Atkins is the guy you want trying to make major deals happen, but I have a hard time reconciling that doubt with my belief that Mark Shapiro is one of the most competent executives in the game.

    I do sympathize, because everyone was responsible for ensuring that their roster was moved over properly and you're the only new owner and thus didn't have access to yahoo to verify that things were right. But like P2F said, the cut down won't be for another two months, so there's a lot of time to shape the end of your roster.

    I wasn't very precise in the message you quoted. You need to have 18-22 players on your MLB roster, and the remainder on your farm (as long as they're under the promotion thresholds (the thresholds have been increased to 1000 PA and 50 (GS + half of relief appearances). The flags don't matter, aside from preventing you from moving non-flagged guys to your farm.

    I just add Mike Fiers, Marcell Ozuna, and Diego Castillo to their proper teams from the FA list. From what I can tell, nobody else was missed in the transfer to Fantrax.

    Yes, it's 32 keepers, of which 18-22 can be MLB players and the remainder are green flags on your farm.

    I don't believe this league or the DDL have had any discussions about moving to a 26-man roster.

    They don't even have a surplus of catching. Jansen and McGuire project as a decent starter and good backup, and nobody else is close.

    I don't think anyone actually expects the team to structure a contract that way. It's just something they could do if they were actually interested in signing him.

    Looks like he's been primarily used as a starter since 2014. His last two seasons were 156 and then 181 innings.

    I don't think the team would prefer a frontloaded contract, but Ryu certainly would and the team is in a position to make that concession if it helps give them an edge.

    Apparently Betances is hoping to get 1/10. Toronto should be aggressively pursuing him at that price range. A healthy Betances returns more than 10M in prospect capital at the deadline.

    It's a bit surprising to see that kind of language in the middle of an offseason that has a good chance to set the all-time record for FA spending.

    A few things have to be done: 1. Waiver draft picks on the sheet need to be turned into pick numbers instead of round numbers. I'll try to get to this shortly, but if someone wants to be a doll and do it, please feel free. 2. Chubs needs to register in fantrax. L54, can you give him a push? 3. Mr. All Day needs to register in Fantrax. Hurl? 4. We need to determine if spittin and littlemoon are still alive and willing to participate.
