    Tommy Milone's Braves tenure was hilarious last year. August 29th: Braves acquire Tommy Milone. August 29th: Braves get out to a 9-0 lead. Surely this shitbag can eat a few innings and save the bullpen for an easy W. Milone and his 86 mph fastball get bombed for 7 runs and he's pulled in the 3rd inning. September 9th: Braves get out to an 11-2 lead (against Miami!). Surely this time this shitbag can eat a few innings and save the bullpen for an easy W. Milone and his 86 mph fastball get bombed for 8 runs and he's pulled in the 4th inning. Milone never pitches again for the Braves.

    The only thing worse than people who criticize management over a minor league deal are people who feel the need to remind everyone that “THERE’S NO BAD MINOR LEAGUE DEAL!” It’s not a bad move to sign Tommy Milone. Tommy Milone is gross.

    My best read of the situation is that I'm supposed to have 4-9 (from Real Baseball Guys) and 4-10 (wOBA the Hutt), but there's no way for me to have acquired 4-4, which should belong to Mike's Bikes. I've given P2F 4-4 back. I'm also sure he doesn't care about this.

    Is anyone missing a 4th in this year's draft? I'm only supposed to own Abom's and BlueRocky's, but I have three in Fantrax. Not even sure we'll be drafting that deep, but thought I'd throw it out there.

    I don't love the idea of renting Morton for what probably amounts to one year, but I felt I needed a third reliable arm behind Bauer and DeGrom. I think I probably undervalued Ramos because I acquired him with the intent of moving him, and never really formed any kind of attachment to him as an asset. The Brantley saga ends up being Brantley for Morton, Detmers, and a 2022 2nd. Seems more or less fair when you look at it like that.

    Last year was so sad. Everyone was excited to see him back and healthy on the mound, but he gets bombed over two short starts and then shut down. Then he also forgets how to hit, for good measure. You have to think he's done pitching if things don't go well this year.

    Man, I hate to pump the tires of Jimbo's assets, but Iglesias is really good with a clear path to saves, and an early 2nd in this draft is a steal. I wish I had a higher pick to offer.

    Seeing as the only SP I've been offered for Brantley is Waino, I'm going to to shop Brantley for prospects and try to flip them for a SP. I wish J4L19 were in this league to propose elaborate 3-ways.
