    Used that yesterday. I just tried logging out and pushing the Twitter button to log back in and get: "Whoa there! There is no request token for this page. That's the special key we need from applications asking to use your Twitter account. Please go back to the site or application that sent you here and try again; it was probably just a mistake." This tool is embarrassingly bad.

    Wander Franco was 3/5 with a 3B yesterday, and has a HR and 2B so far tonight.

    Yeah. He won't start until they play the Yankees in New York and he can DH. Fans get to watch Erick Fedde hit instead of Juan Soto. Very cool.

    Yeah, I think we see him within a month if he dominates AAA. Rays are hovering around 0.500, and getting nothing from Adames, Tsutsugo, or Brosseau. It would be irresponsible to let Franco torch AAA for a big chunk of the season while rostering multiple replacement level infielders on the major league roster.

    I often wonder if there are guys who could do Kyle Hendricks things but never really get a fair shake, or if baseball actually does a good job finding the guys who have the skill set to get by on low velo.

    How does Grant so consistently find himself in these kinds of interactions? It must be exhausting.

    If Alomar feels like he didn't do anything to warrant this treatment, the logical course of action would be to tell his side of the story. If that doesn't happen, we should probably be comfortable assuming that the team isn't completely overacting over a trivial interaction between two employees.

    In case anyone wants a laugh, I will present my production from SS this season: Brandon Crawford - 12 GP 0.511 OPS Leury Garcia - 5 GP 0.200 OPS Nick Ahmed - 5 GP 0.048 OPS Miguel Rojas - 4 GP 0.368 OPS Freddy Galvis - 1 GP 2.000 OPS It would be difficult to get production this bad from a position if you were deliberately streaming shitbags against aces trying to see how little you could get.

    I really don't think they should move him. He's helping the team at 1B right now, and probably feels good about his defensive contributions for maybe the first time ever. Let him settle in as a 1st round masher. And the team doesn't really have anyone else kicking down the door for PT at 1B. Moving him to get Rowdy Tellez onto the field at 1B just doesn't seem worthwhile.

    It's been 60 years since a 1B put up a 10-WAR season. He'd basically have to hit like like peak Bonds all season.
