This was a fair/reasonable thing to do
-
MLB could always throw down a 10-year suspension if he's not charged. Probably ends up in court though.
-
lol, yes. Jim has the worst luck possible with (alleged) child abusers.
-
Yeah. This is franchise-crippling if he never plays again. He was signed to a sweetheart deal until he was 32.
-
This is such an insane story. A legit HoF trajectory talent might have his career ended at 22 because of criminal behaviour. Has anything analogous happened in any of the major sports before?

Fair enough, but we’re all just shooting the s*** on a message board and not being 100% careful about language.
-
You’re being hypersensitive because you own him in fantasy leagues
-
The word "allegedly" was in the first post you quoted Jim

The girl is alleging a long-term relationship with him.
-
This, allegedly, wasn't a 1-time thing though. And I don't really believe a 20+ year old man could spend a lot of time with a 14-year old girl and not realize she's still basically a kid, regardless of how she looks.

I wanted to see Edwin or Nelson Cruz get to 500 just to see if it's still an automatic HoF ticket

Imagine Ohtani with the short porch in Yankee Stadium...
-
He's going to put up a ~2.5 win season at 22. He's, at minimum, a very good SS defender with really good speed and an intriguing bat. FG just had him 27th in their trade value series.

The Yankees will buy pitching to round out their rotation behind Cole (and maybe Rodon next year). But I have no idea where their lineup is going to come from. How many position players do they have that you actually feel good about in 2024? CF - Judge SS - Volpe 2B - Torres (FA after the season). Maybe Oswald Peraza, but he's far from blue chip. It looks very Angels to me.

Jack Flaherty is getting absolutely caved
-
Damn, I edited connor's comment instead of replying to it. Not going to bother fixing it.
-
My god I can't wait for Dean Kremer and Kyle Gibson to get caved in the playoffs. -
It's weird seeing Stangstag get mad. Next up Gsnarls is going to start throwing haymakers.
-
Nice reference, grandpa

So what's a fair offer for Wander Franco today? Asking for a friend, and highly respected member of the BJMB community.

Oh Lordy

lol @ the Yankees

The league isn’t going to f*** around with anything related to minors. If the girl he’s kissing/hugging in the photos is 14 he’s probably not playing again. I can’t think it will take that long to verify, so he’ll probably be either in the clear or utterly f***ed before too long.
