  1. Two fans apparently just tackled Acuna in the OF in Colorado
  2. Kyle Barraclough has thrown 67 pitches in relief tonight for Boston. It turns out they actually turned him into a starter this year in AAA, for some reason.
  3. In BORED, the system didn't properly rank the tied teams on the standings page based on H2H record vs. all teams tied with. I'd check its work.
  4. The SP depth edge he has on most teams is also gone against you.
  5. Standings were a mess. They shook out as follows: 1. Jim 2. Spanky99 3. BTS 4. Carlos Danger (these 4 are just the 4 division winners, in order) 5. Pendleton4Life19 (better record than CD, but didn't win division) 6. JG34 (tied with jaysblue and connopr Jr. but +2 H2H vs. those teams) 7. jaysblue (tied with jaysblue and connopr Jr. but +1 H2H vs. those teams) 8. connopr Jr (tied with jaysblue and connopr Jr. but -3 H2H vs. those teams)
  6. Matchups are in Fantrax: Jimcanuck (1) vs. Junior Connorp (8) Spanky99 (2) vs. jaysblue (7) BTS (3) vs. JG34 (6) Carlos Danger (4) vs. Pendleton4Life19 (5)
  7. Matchups are in Fantrax: BTS (1) vs. Abomination (8) Goldbull (2) vs. Orgfiller (7) L54 (3) vs. jaysblue (6) P2F (4) vs. Laika (5)
  8. 1.2 Standings and Playoffs There are 4 divisions of 5 teams. The 4 division winners and 4 wildcards qualify for the playoffs, with the 4 division winners seeded in the top-4, followed by the 4 wildcards. Playoffs consist of 3 matchups, with re-seeding. The championship match will be two weeks, and finish in the second-last week of the MLB regular season.
  9. UCL injury for Bautista
  10. You could probably still trade him for a haul in the offseason to one of the other homers in the league.
  11. No posts about how Felix Bautista’s arm might have exploded yesterday?
  12. It's crazy to me that Betts could be two years from passing Miggy in WAR. Obviously I knew he was on a HoF track. But he's going to be a first-ballot, all-time great.
  13. I think voters also like when guys play their whole career in the same city. And there are zero character or PED red flags with Votto: he’s always been a great interview and media darling.
  14. I don't actually think I can handle a world where Harold Baines is in and Votto is kept out.
  15. He should be a slam-dunk HoFer.
  16. 36.6 fWAR, 113 wins and over 1700 Ks through age-30. He was on a HoF track before his career derailed. s*****.
  17. I think and hope he walks away. Everything seems to point in that direction: - expiring contract - consecutive lost seasons - not close to any personal milestones that would be worth chasing Would be nice to see the Reds get to the playoffs for him one last time
  18. There's no way Ohtani is going to agree to stop pitching. Not yet anyway.
  19. Read that too. Probably not going to play at 1B, but maybe there’s enough offense there to work at 3B
  20. No power to speak of yet, but his plate discipline is insane for a 21-year old seeing major league pitching after less than 100 minor league PA: 23% O-swing 83% Z-swing so far.
  21. I wonder if he could have avoided some of the UCL damage if he shut down the pitching side a couple months ago when he started getting "fatigued" and leaving starts early.
