I don't think people really understand how different this could look in a year. Gurriel is having a nice year, but he's a 29-year league average corner OF entering free agency. You can buy one of those for like 10M on a 1-year deal if you want. The Jays just bought a better OF for 1 year 9M last offseason. The actual substance of the deal is Varsho vs. Moreno.

Yeah, when you're a replacement-level player there are any number of factors that can contribute to you getting the boot. If management perceives that you're creating even a small headache for them, there's nothing compelling them to keep you around. Its why vets always tell rookies to put their head down and mouth closed - don't give management even the slightest reason to not want you around.

I think we should just re-do the process without the confusion of different time slots for the players to come off waivers. The setting has been fixed, so this shouldn't come up again. Is anyone able to process this today before games start? Also, players should come off waivers before games Friday. Also, if any team who made a claim runs of out ads this week because of a canceled add, I'll do one manually so they don't lose an add over this.

If that happened, I think the fairest way to approach this is to put everyone back on waivers (but ending like Friday morning or something so the teams claiming SPs still get their next start) and reverse the waiver order to what it was last night. Also, I'm at work and I'm not doing this on mobile, so I can't actually process any of this today.
