If I'm Jim I'm asking for Jordan Walker. He'll never be as good as Franco, but if he turns into a 40-HR masher, he's only like 20 spots lower in dynasty. But you won't pay that.

I think a trade will be almost impossible. Franco owners will be able to live with him never coming back - there's no way they could have seen it coming, so nothing could have been done for it. No mistake made on their end. What they won't be able to live with is moving him for pennies on the dollar, then having him be cleared and come back next April. So they'll only trade him for a return that might be OK even if he comes back, but no owner will offer that right now.

This is such an insane story. A legit HoF trajectory talent might have his career ended at 22 because of criminal behaviour. Has anything analogous happened in any of the major sports before?

This, allegedly, wasn't a 1-time thing though. And I don't really believe a 20+ year old man could spend a lot of time with a 14-year old girl and not realize she's still basically a kid, regardless of how she looks.

He's going to put up a ~2.5 win season at 22. He's, at minimum, a very good SS defender with really good speed and an intriguing bat. FG just had him 27th in their trade value series.

The Yankees will buy pitching to round out their rotation behind Cole (and maybe Rodon next year). But I have no idea where their lineup is going to come from. How many position players do they have that you actually feel good about in 2024? CF - Judge SS - Volpe 2B - Torres (FA after the season). Maybe Oswald Peraza, but he's far from blue chip. It looks very Angels to me.
