Prime Derek Lowe induced about 2-2.5% more swinging strikes over 200+ inning seasons than Sanchez did as a reliever this year. Derek Lowe was a lot less hittable than Aaron Sanchez looks to be.

I do think he has a chance to be an effective reliever though. It's just really difficult to picture him contributing as a starter next year.
Yeah, that's my take too. The comp pick will come very close to being as valuable as I expect Sanchez to be a year from now. Add in like $20-30 million in surplus value from Zobrist and it's a very light offer.
