  1. I'm willing to bet that my offense is better than yours next year.
  2. Your dumn. I can't wait to stomp your Troutless ass in the LOD.
  3. I'm probably overcompensating for what happened to my offence last year, but 11 bats feels safe.
  4. Jason Grilli will sign a 2/9 contract and close for the next two years.
  5. 11-7-2 seems to work. I thought about going 10-8-2.
  6. lmao @ Goins slugging 0.390
  7. Did he call you an insufferable sourpuss?
  8. He was basically free, and I hadn't decided at the time how many starters I wanted to keep.
  9. Yeah, I probably should have looked after this three weeks ago.
  10. I can only keep one of Wada, Tim Hudson, and Clay Buchholz, so two are available for prospects.
  11. Boston needs someone for the top of their rotation. If they land Scherzer or Shields, they looks pretty legit: Scherzer Miley Porcello Buccholz Masterson That's plenty of rotation for what should be an elite lineup.
  12. http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2014/12/white-sox-mariners-in-serious-talks-on-dayan-viciedo.html Jack Z just can't help himself.

    John Bernier is a moron.
  14. Eric Thames is f***ing jacked.
  15. Yeah, Cecil is pretty elite.
  16. Cecil 2.70 ERA, 2.34 FIP, 2.51 xFIP in a hitter's park in the AL East. Romo = 3.72, 3.94, 3.40 Casilla = 1.70, 3.18, 3.45 Affeldt = 2.28, 2.86, 3.23 And they pitched in a giant pitcher's park in the NL West. I really don't think think there's an argument. Cecil would have just silly numbers pitching for SF while the other three would have ERAs approaching 4 in Toronto.
  17. This isn't true. SF's pen is mediocre at best. Cecil is better than anyone they have.
  18. Nobody is discounting the value of a good bullpen. It's valuable - we saw that with KC this year. It's just that planning to have a good bullpen is really hard, and big investments in relievers is more often than not a very inefficient expenditure of assets.

Yeah, that's what's frustrating. Murray hasn't done a good job, but they don't really have a chance as long as Melnyk is owner. They have the lowest payroll in the NHL. When you're spending less than Phoenix, Florida, Nashville in a contention season, it's time to sell the team. Melnyk is just a loathsome person.
  20. Probably not.
  21. The Giants this year...
  22. His Mother was Cuban I think.
  23. IIRC Ang was born in Brazil, spent most of his childhood in Mexico and then moved to the DR as an adult.
