I didn't realize that Freddie Freeman had such strong Canadian ties and how much he wants to play for Canada at the WBC in 2017 Are there any hurdles that he needs to go through or can we already pencil him in as our 1B/DH playing for Canada?

What makes the Royals so good is that they don't have superstars like Baustista, Edwin, Price, Donaldson or like the Mets with Harvey, DeGrom, Thor but their just a well rounded team that play hard and do an excellent job grinding out games.
