    I think they said Travis would be up mid-week or so, so I wouldn't expect him to be part of tomorrow's call-ups. He'll probably come up and Kawasaki will go down on Wednesday or Thursday.

    I doubt it. They seem a little thin down in AAA, and I'm not sure they'd want to lose them if they had to be sent down again a few days from now.

    Castro, Jenkins, and Norris are already on the 40 man. Realistically I'd have to think Jenkins will be one of the guys. I think I'll make my prediction be Jenkins, Norris, and Infante. (edited because apparently I haven't paid attention to the minor league team in a while)

    Lol, my suggestion may come true!

    If we're going to sell out this season one way or another, I'd much prefer we got bullpen help by bringing up some of the guys like Boyd, Castro, and Norris and hurting their development rather than trading those type of guys for relievers that may not fare any better, or that cost a crapload in salary next year.

    Betts has a chance at a super cycle if he can get another at-bat. Just missing the single.

    You mean the stats coming into today that had a 3.20 xFIP, 10.23 K/9, 2.86 BB/9, 3.57 K/BB? Nothing wrong with those numbers. I'd take him out of the closer's role for now since he seems to have lost his confidence (probably slot Delabar in), but not because of his ERA.

    The video replay guys for both teams must be suffering from heat stroke.

    I think they're probably just front office interns and J Force members. I could be wrong though.

    Ziegler is probably available from Arizona. I'm not convinced he'd be much of an upgrade over what the 5M could get us in a few weeks though.

    At least the ump didn't toss Martin after making the bad call. He definitely could have been there.

    I think it would be interesting to claim Aumont (if he makes it to us). Put him down in the pen as a long man and try to work out his wild issues. He has a nice arm, is from Canada, and is controllable for a long time.

    You just have to free up any minor league slots you want to make picks for before the draft starts. I believe you also need to promote (or cut) any prospects that have crossed the mandatory promotion threshold.

    That would be epic! The umps wouldn't know what the hell he was saying when he came out to argue!

    If it's intentional it's one of the dumbest things I've seen in a long time. You don't put the tying run at the plate in the 8th inning to hit a guy. It wasn't intentional. Looks like Buckner was getting a talking to after from the other umps too (which probably means the O's will now hit someone and NOT get tossed)

    I'd assume they'll let him try for the no hitter, but remove him immediately if he gives up a hit. It's not like he's a high end young arm that needs to be babied, he doesn't put a lot of stress on his arm, and he isn't a guy who relies on velocity.

    I'm not sure Wieters ever tagged him. Lots of contact, but the glove didn't appear to be part of it. Probably not worth a review though.

    Yeah, I don't get it either. Maybe Gibby said something really rude, although it looked like he just wanted an explanation and didn't get a chance to say much at all.

    And to think I was actually feeling a little sorry for him getting nailed by that foul ball. There's no reason at all to toss a manager there.

    Nah, it would set a precedent for fans of other teams at road games to do so whenever they could in order to get calls for their team. Do your best to call it as it would have happened, and kick out the fan.
