You should change the spreadsheet so only correct selections are highlighted. I noticed you're bolding them, but it's rather hard to see with all the stronger colors around.

Nice! The tournament I'm in has the top scores in the mid 60's, so you must have drawn into a good one!

The FGDC one is at 41.75 points atm (FD). Brett Anderson still going, so could increase quite a bit still. I'm at 41 points in a tourney with a different lineup placing 514/11494 right now.

Lol, we're in the same 50/50! I played my own lineup in a tourney (not doing quite as well as JFaS one, but at least currently in the money).

Yeah, the ball really doesn't seem to be carrying at all right now. That one looked like it completely died at the end, but fortunately just made it.

Ah. Well, it's still worth noting for anyone else. If you sign up for either DK or FD, get someone to refer you. The referrer gets something for doing so. (I'd especially suggest getting JFaS to refer you, since he's posting optimals for everyone).

Do you know of any studies examining streaks based on pitch-by-pitch data (for example, contact rate, etc during the streaks)? The sample size would still be very small, but it would take some of the luck out.

The last time the turf was replaced, there was a lot of rubber kicking up all the time too initially. It took a month or so to settle down if I remember right. This is nothing different than in the past. The only issue is whether there are unusual bounces (like that chopper in front of the plate the other day), or what happens in the summer when it gets really warm. -
Of all the times to NOT enter a tournament, I had to pick tonight. My FD 50/50 lineup scored 48.75 points. Not a winning score I'm sure, but should have placed nicely.

Interesting. In my tourney, Harvey is only 30% owned (really?). In my 50/50, he's 69% owned.

People may find this kind of useful. Unfortunately, FD apparently uses their own player id (seriously, why???), but at least you can easily match something like data from gameday (pitch fx database for example) to fangraphs data or projections without errors. http://crunchtimebaseball.com/baseball_map.html

What I really want is just the average min point totals to place in 50/50 and tournaments each day. I haven't been able to find anywhere that has that data. Rotoguru has historical player salary for the current year (although past years would be helpful).
