    I always defended JPR on the old board and took a lot of heat for it. Besides not making the big trades, and got a little carried away when he was given some cash, JPR did a pretty good job here.

    I dunno, extra $20M would help me make a decision a little easier. Damn, sometimes I forget how much money these guys have. $100M+, your family is set for life for the next 50+ generations.     Have to guess it's either NY, or not true. The guy is 31 for christ sake. He'll be making $20M when he's 39 with them. How do you turn that down even if you hate the place lol

    Wow $30M. I was on the fence with $40M over 4, but $30M/4 is pretty damn good. I cant' believe AA wouldn't have been in on that. Unbelievable. I'm still bitter we missed out on Fister. Can't believe that.

    I just don't have faith in AA to get the full value out of Santos. Couldn't we have built a deal around Santos for Fister?

    I can predict the future. Mariners dump one of their infielders for a D prospect. AA goes on the radio to say he talked to Seattle about their infielders but we just weren't a match...

    I repeatedly said I wanted him here when Red Sox dumped him and he was going to have a huge year. Well he wasn't that great but .236/.346 .771 isn't too bad!

    It's funny even the crowd that was chirping him were silent. They didn't know what to say/do. It would have been okay if it was one of Spanky's 45mph heaters.

    What does AA have to do for you to be somewhat comfortable going into the season? For me, if we got someone like Tanaka (like as in it might be impossible for us to acquire him), I would be okay. I'd still want more, but if we got a potential ace, I'd feel we'd atleast be competitive. Or two B player, an Infante caliber 2B (3WARish), and a decent pitcher, Garza/Anderson. Personally, I think the Jays need to up payroll another $15M and go all in, or blow this team up. There's too many question marks in this team to make minor improvements and hope for the best. Fister for one of our relievers + prospect would have been such an amazing trade for us. Such a let down. PS I had a dream we signed Infante

    Holy s*** I had to double verify Rasmus had 4.8WAR last year. Almost makes me wish I watched more games last year! If I was Rasmus I'd be sending Mottola a nice check for Christmas, hoping he can secretly still work with him!

    I think a full offseason working on 2B Lawrie would be adequate at 2B by the time season rolls around.
