    Just crazy busy last few months. Another kid on the way very soon and starting a new business. Just swamped almost every hour of the day.

    I'm sure he's an alright guy, but he obviously has some issues. More than once he fliipped out for little reason. I did feel bad because he put a lot of work into it, but he instigated it with me (us), so I quickly lost that feeling lol. About the site in the original post, those types of sites are garbage. Barely anyone uses Alexa, so it's hard to really gauge. This site can be a lot better. It will slowly grow, once season starts numbers will blow up. But I can promise you, quite a few members shy away from posting or sticking around, because they see some of the posts and how people react to posts. This site gets 20,000 page views a day.

    That little guy we had, from the cardinals, that looks like he's 14 should be the face of MLB. What's his damn name again. Couldn't throw it to first from much further than 2B. Eckstein, he should be the face of MLB.

    They should just treat him like a FA, and 25% of the contract goes to the Japan team. Probably the easiest way to handle it.

    This is kinda f***ing dumb. I understand it's a process but christ, and ask "who isn't in?". Obviously it's going to be $20M, and a question of who isn't interested rather than who is.

    For Comparison, Yu Darvish had a 1.44ERA his last year in Japan, 10.7k/9 1.40BB/9. He has been one of the best pitchers in baseball over the last two years since he arrived. Tanaka last year had a 1.27ERA 7.8 K/9 and 1.40BB/9. K rates are pretty far off, but Darvish would definitely be worth $120M.

    I started a new around baseball thread last night and said keep it on topic, after closing the other one they ruined. His first post was a typical spanky comment so I warned him. Two minutes later he posted another one. I'm sure he was going until he got banned last night.

    A veteran posts and says f*** you admin, you f***ing suck s***. A new member with ten posts comes to the board comes and says f*** you admin, you f***ing suck s***. And I ban the new guy, but not the veteran. What does that say to new members of the board? I can't say what I want but guys who have been here longer can? Why would new members stick around if that's the case? And if veterans get treated differently, where do you draw the line? Do you draw the line at the guy who has been here six months? What if he has 10 posts? What if he has 1000 posts, but there are all garbage posts? Do we evaluate his posts to see if he should be banned or not? That doesn't make sense to me.

    I think one or two day bans are fair and get the point across. s*** I think I gave boxcar three days.... board seemed so much better during those days!

    NJH's ban was a one day ban, I lifted his ban. Since we don't have give temp bans, we don't really have a set number of days, so I think one was enough. Gnarls felt a temp ban was warranted, and I will stand by his decision. The moderators discuss issues, and problems with members in the mods forum, and believe me, the last thing we want to do is ban people. NJH is one of our top posters, but at the same time we can't give veterans more slack than new guys. Gnarls could see the direction this board has been heading the last while and he put a stop to it. If we start banning some guys for some things and not other guys, the board will turn into a s*** show. I don't know the context of NJH's posts, but "mods are pussies" usually doesn't mean well. Now let's get this post back about baseball.

    Doing this over so we can start from #1 and go all the way up the list. And so it gets more attention on the main forum. Toss up for me. I think Stroman is more of a sure thing and Sanchez has the chance to be very good.
