The design is a bit cramped, but it's because I didn't want it to just look like a typical blog, content and side bar. Want it to look kinda like torontosun.com, different modules through out the front page. I dont think the mouseover is over the top since it's only active on mouse over. If it was a constant animation I could see so, but as long as you're not circling your mouse around, I don't think it's too much. Yeah the title in the posts isn't quite what we went, it was more so to get something temporary. We had to do a bunch of custom work there to remove an image at the top. I'll play around with it a bit. Before the title was white with blue backdrop that looked much better. I liked the font because it was something different. Open sans is nice too, but a lot of people use it, so I wanted something different. I changed it to open sans right now, let me know what you, and the rest of you guys here think. Open sans is nice and clean though, which is nice. I used it on my most recent site as well. Text width is something we can look at. Personally I hate narrow articles, especially if they are long, seems like you're scrolling forever. And for the blockquotes, we switched to a new quote, not sure why it wasn't implemented on the latest article. The new one looks much better and stands out more. And I will darken text links if they are too light, but only if I have to. I think the blue isn't too light that it needs to be adjusted.

Yeah we've thought about that. But it's a name that doesn't have to be a reference to the show when it runs it's course. It can always be like 'breaking news'. We'd just change the logo when needed. Good catch, I'll fix that. 90% of the work I do is US targeted so I always spell US versions. Good ideas, I hope the writers take note. JFaS is one writer, and I'll let the other writers give their name if they want.

There's always a place for good content. On this board and the old board we've constantly linked to othe rsites that provided good content. Most Jays fans love to read anything interesting or new. Also, I really don't think there are many blogs out there that will go into the depth our articles do. Look at the latest article we put up. It's 3000 words. Then read it, and see the details, and the time put into it. It's going to be tied into this site as well, so that alone will get it some decent traffic. Then hopefully over time it just grows more and more. The guys writing are doing it just because they love the Jays, and want to write about them. They're fine with a small audience, some even prefer to have a small audience. It'll take some time, but it will become a top blog in time. Of course I'd like to think THE top blog.

As many of you know, we've been working on a blog. As of right now we have three dedicated writers, as two had to back out for the time being. As per the last request, there were a few of you that had interested in being a regular writer. We decided the best way to find new writers and make it fair for everyone is to let anyone submit an article. We'll review the article and as long as the quality is decent, we will post it on the site. For those that can write high quality pieces on a regular basis (once a week minimum), we'll add you to the staff permanently, if you wish. One role we do need is something like either a daily recap of Jays news/rumors and/or someone who can write about news/rumors as soon as they happen, preferably within the hour. We want the site to be one of the first to release Jays related news. If any of you are interested in doing this, please contact me via PM and we can discuss further. If you have any questions, post them here.

Jays were among top in the league in HR, that's the last thing they need. Tanaka Cano A catcher I don't care if we over pay for Cano, we have 2-3 years to win with this roster. Either go all in or blow it up right now. EE, Bau, Reyes, Cano wouldn't hate playing here. It's not the best way to go about things, but AA f***ed this team up so bad last offseason, it's the only option. This team needs massive changes to compete next year, little moves like Garza won't cut it. Go all in, or blow it up, why build a team that just might squeeze into the playoffs. I wouldn't even care if we blew this team up if AA doesn't make significant moves.

Thinking of just becoming a full time Cards fan. This organization was on the same path, and threw it all away in one offseason. Unbelievable. Everyone thought they wouldn't be good at all without Pujols. Look at them now. Seems like every one of their prospects comes up and is a star immediately.

I wouldn't mind Samardzija. I just cringe thinking what AA is going to give up.

I think the Jays know Sierra has a lot of potential, whether they can get it all out is the question. THey probably don't want to let him walk and he turns into something. Especially with the state this s***** FO is in right now, that would probably be the last straw.

I think we'll do a top 20 or 30, one by one, using a poll starting from #1 and on. Give something to discuss on a regular basis. Maybe do a prospect every two days. I'll find a good time to start it. When's winter meetings again? Early december? Maybe start it shortly after that. My stupid ass didn't realize a board error, people couldn't sign up for the longest time. We missed out on a bunch of new members trying to sign up. I'm sure it's pretty slow in offseason anyways though.

Sorry, we had a 12 hour period where our spam bot detection wasn't working, and we had about 30 spam bots signed up in that period, I deleted them, and one or two accounts, like yours were in that group. I can take out the underscores if you want.

Yeah I had "population" at first, which would have still been millions lol. I'd say there are a handful of players in the league that could do what he did.

He doesn't train to be one though. Who knows what he is capable of. Probably not likely though, but I don't think he's far off. The guy is a freak. This is a guy that most people said he wouldn't be able to stick at 3B, yet in his first year he was a well above average defender. That's something that 99.9% of athletes could not do.

No, North Face is just random spam. The hack was when you found our site through Google, it would redirect you to some stupid site. Should be better now. They try to hack these types of forums all the time. Sometimes they are successful. I have to upgrade the forum tonight as well.

I haven't checked in a long time, but probably not. Maybe 1000 a day is a rough guess, maybe even less, especially this part in the season.

Had some issues and spam stop plugin wasn't working. SHould be fixed now. We had that before, I can't remember the problem but most ended up not wanting it.
