  1. You can go dig up troll threads on the Mets board when they thought TDA was involved and all the Jays fans went over there and laughed at them for thinking that. Then even more so when it was rumored Synd was involved as well. Was rather embarrassing when it turned out to be true.
  2. They all play for the Jays. I win.
  3. I don't care how good tanaka is and how much I'd love him here, I can't fault the FO for not getting him. Seven years is ridiculous, Yanks could care less though though.
  4. No way Red Sox are there in the end. Them and Baltimore will be at the bottom. Darvish vs Hernandez tonight, that could be a hell of a game.
  5. Other MLB teams have catchers that can catch the ball and don't bring in terrible defensive catchers to be their starting catcher. Pretty sure Zaun has asked the same question before. But I also did read Wak was working with him. Honestly I could see JPA as too arrogant to listen to help, and continue to do things his own way, ie throw from his knees.
  6. JA Happ sucks. Guys like him are a dime a dozen. I don't know why AA would give him another contract in the first place. Jenkins could easily do what Happ is doing.
  7. I've been a couple times now. It's nice. Whole area is pretty nice. Great city to go to for a weekend.
  8. I had it turned on on the forum side but I read if your server has it running to turn the forum one off. So I'm not sure. I don't know if it's just my mind playing tricks, but since I disabled all our addons, the forum seems to be running even faster. One of the addons was causing the error, now I have to find out which it is. Maybe you should relax a bit! Let me finish some stuff and we'll see if it's working. Probably Windows 8! I'll look into that though.
  9. lol you can see at the very last split second as he was about to catch the ball the railing caught his eye and he looked at it and dropped the ball. None of us want to see someone fail, but JP's arrogance and the fact that he thinks he can do no wrong, makes the whole thing somewhat enjoyable. I've posted this atleast five times, but I want to know why AA didn't get him a catching coach when they knew he was absolutely terrible defensively.
  10. Sucks. They probably get 1000+ fans that drive 7 hours from Winnipeg, and they schedule it at such a s*** time of the year. Havne't gone in a couple years but there were Jays fans everywhere and that was before the big offseason, I'd imagine quite a few more would go if it was in the summer.
  11. Well apparently one of the dozen or so features is causing the error. Now to add them back one by one to find out which it is. I have a feeling it might have been the mlb ticker.
  12. It'll be back, just have to find the root of the problem.
  13. Still getting an error with the forum. I'm going to disable some of the addons to try and find the result of the error. Some features will be unavailable for the next day.
  14. I have a hard time believing anything AA says or reportedly says. I think most of the time when it says the Jays were in on someone AA phoned to check in, or made a ridiculous offer. He probably offered Jeffress for Kinsler.
  15. Including this year, seven more years on Pujols' contract. He'll make $30M in seven years when he's 41 years old. Unbelievable.
  16. I have been so busy the last few months I didn't know anything about the whole situation. Just recently found out it was such a big deal. I agree though if it's one tread I don't know why people don't just ignore it.
  17. It's too hard to compare when some of them haven't pitched in ages. Stieb, Clemens, Hanke would probably all have a lot more votes if they pitched recently. Too long ago for me to remember.
  18. Maybe not the filthiest but Lilly curve was fun to watch. Burnett when he was on was filthy. I'd probably say Brandon League. He probably won't get the recognition he deserves (though jfas already mentioned him!), but the movement on his pitches in the high 90s almost defies physics. The reason he isn't known as one of the best is because there was so much movement on it, he couldn't even control it, and his walk rates were way too high. But he had the potential to be one of the top closers in baseball imo.
  19. I just changed the stylesheets so hopefully that clears up too. Also the forum uses gzip compression, from what I've read.
  20. Follow up wiht me in a few days.
  21. I'll have to see if I can find anything on that. I think that has happened on other sites on my phone as well.
  22. I uninstalled piwik, that shouldn't be there at all anymore. Where do you see the error in chrome? Bottom corner? I'm not getting any error in Chrome. That's strange. Do you use that tapatalk or whatever?
  23. I don't think it's luck. I think some pitches don't move and players take advantage of it.
  24. It's depressing. No matter how well he's pitching, in the back of your mind you wait for him to float a couple in there and blow the game. He could be throwinga one hitter into the 6th, and all the sudden a walk or a hit, a then floats one in and the worst player in the league can put it over the fence.
