  1. Nothing juicy but overall some pretty good stuff. He should have saved those and did one a day he could have built that up pretty well. Hope he posts some more stuff you don't hear about too often. Like admitting to hitting guys on purpose. What a life. Retire at 35 with $80M in the bank and don't even know what to do with yourself.
  2. I'll probably grab that too. $130 is a little more than I'd like to play though, considering I don't watch nearly as many games anymore.
  3. Gonna start banning this Cubs circle jerk.
  4. Admittedly, I haven't followed prospects that close the last year or two, but I can't imagine too many teams with a worse farm than that.
  5. Seems like he doesn't really care. Wants to stay with the Reds and never have to move. Can't believe he'll be making $25M when he's 40.
  6. You're right, Chip Cannon had the club foot, McDade was just big and slow I guess.
  7. Yeah, I just wanted to see what he was up to. I thought he had better numbers back in the day but they were never that great.
  8. Yeah that's the one.
  9. No! Was a prospect few years ago in AA.
  10. What was that big fat black guys name that played 1B, think he had club foot or something too.
  11. Of course it could. Does anyone know exact dates he stopped using and started using again? Wouldn't be surprised if half the league was using similar medications.
  12. Shapiro is probably kicking the tires on Davis vs EE/Bau extension. If EE and Bau want too much, and Davis can be had at a better valued contract, then sign Davis, and move EE/Bau and get a good prospect/pitcher in return. That way instead of one of them leaving and there being an offensive gap, it will be filled by Davis. Trade Bautista for Strasburg. Boom. Come at me bro.
  13. He didn't say it was going to be easy.
  14. AA's offer, five years $90M.
  15. You're right it's not too bad at all. I just have a feeling they won't be satisfied with just that and will do something else.
  16. lol @ all the new Jays fans pissed that we didn't sign him. $31M/year makes the Jays not getting him a little easier to deal with. If it was less years and less money, I'd have been on the fence about the Jays ponying up for him. With that contract I'm fine with the Jays not getting him. Boston will now go after another one or two pitchers and look pretty good this year. Shark + Kazmir? Zach Greinke is smiling right now.
  17. What about JP Arencibia? Oh in baseball.
  18. Don't know how we got onto the subject but Barry Bonds is the greatest baseball player to ever play the game, and I'm sorry but you're a f***ing moron if you object to it because of steroid use.
  19. I'm hoping once most of the top names go the Jays find someone on a good one year deal. Seems to always happen, a guy or two doesn't end up getting the deal he was hoping for and signs for a decent one year deal.
  20. $22M is a bit too high imo. It's not bad, but how much more to get Price? There's a large gap in talent between the two compared to the the price difference. I'd rather give price $27M per than Zimmerman $22M. We're talking 3 WAR pitcher vs potential 6+ WAR pitcher.
  21. Would you take Happ at three years $36 ($12per) or Shark five years $80M ($16per).
  22. Interesting to see if he bounces back. Velocity is still there. Five year $80-$85M?
  23. What do you guys think Samardzija is gonna get? Could be a good buy low.
  24. 5 years $110M sounds like. Little high but not too bad of a deal. I want to see what Shark gets.
  25. 6 years $130m?
