Well more traffic would mean more potential ad clicks, but I just figured we have this large forum and no twitter presence, might as well get the account active again. My goal from day one was to make this one of the biggest Jays sites. Not to make money, but just for somewhere for people to go and talk Jays other than that old piece of crap. I put up ads to cover some costs. Think it made a dollar today when I checked. The server I use for this site is close to $100/month. This site uses a shitload of bandwidth. Anyways, someone did it a while ago, maybe Hurley, but then they stopped. I remember a couple other guys were interested in doing it. it's really not a big deal, but I figured if someone wanted to do it and enjoyed it why not. It's true. And I continue to post under the dogg, and recently created a djbluray account and then proceeded to ban it. The long con. I don't even remember what happened. Me and Vanland disgreed on some things I think. I think it originally started with working out. We had a shirt off picture posedown, and I won because I looked amazing lol, and I think he was butt hurt ever since. But I couldn't care less, but after that we got along for a bit. I even added him on facebook, and I probably have a total of three members from here on FB, so I don't just add anyone. He actually seemed like an okay guy and was pretty knowledgeable about working out. As I was writing this I remember, someone had a multi account and kept bashing Vanland and he thought for sure it was me. I remember telling him believe it or not, some people just didn't like him lol. Then he went right off the deepend and said every troll account was me. Even that ginger from Saskatchewan, can't remember his name, I'm sure he's still around... but he said that was me too. ANd said my facebook was fake, even with several hundred friends, posts, pictures, etc. Got really weird, I couldn't believe it, because he seemed like an okay guy. Just went right nutso.

It's great he's likeable but he still needs to take action against some of the stupid s*** the guys do. I can't think of any incidents off the top of my head but I remember a couple interviews where he said, "I'll talk to him." or "I talked to him." No one cares because they know he doesn't do anything.

There have been numerous incidents where he has done nothing and did not hold players accountable.

He's probably the most laid back manager in the league, so I can't say he does that either.

Anyone interested in running the twitter account for the forum? I need someone that's consistent and doesn't quit in a week. I just figured the forum is pretty big we might as well use the twitter account for the site. Please post below or message me.

Put it up last night. Gonna play around with them a bit, maybe make a few bucks to cover costs. Doesn't seem too annoying. I use adblock too.

If Kevin Pillar is your lead off hitter, you are not a Major League manager. I just don't understand this, it's not some sneaky strategy, it's not complicated, it's common f***ing sense. If your manager has no f***ing common sense, how on earth do you let him run your team. I don't see how Shapiro didn't say, "Are you f***ing kidding me?" when Gibbons told him Pillar will be leadoff. How do people sit in the organization and not step in or say something? Add in his idiodic bullpen management, how do you keep this guy around? An average fan could come in and do a better job.

I thought he was closer to the bag then he actually was. Looking again he did step out of the way, and you're right it would have been intentional.

My opinion is it's a tough call. If he slid directly into him, it is also intentional, but it would be okay. Technically he's doing the same thing. It just looks bad because he's grabbing with his arm.

No kidding. I'm not going to trust my proven guys, let's see what this fringe minor leaguer will do in this tight game that we should win.

His multiple lineups were not the only thing that made him a terrible manager. He made these same terrible decisions last year. His terrible bullpen management is another. Numerous times last year he did the same idiotic moves. Rested bullpen, one run game, and brings out border line minor league pitchers. I just don't get it, how can anyone be a steady MLB manager making terrible decisions like this on a regular basis.

Wouldn't surprise me if EE and Bau declined at the same rate. EE is younger but Bau is in better shape. Wouldn't surprise me if they were both gone, or possibly keep EE. Bau thinks he should be paid like an elite superstar into his 40s. Four years $90-$100M. Three years $75M would be better, but I doubt he takes three years.
