Hello again, Blue Jays fans! Twice a year, we sit down and find the most popular posts and blogs on Jays Centre, and their creators receive prizes for their contributions to this community. The 2026 season had no shortage of drama, from a nail-biting opener to a late-summer push for a playoff spot, and our community was there for every pitch. We look at the most popular posts and most popular blogs created by our amazing community contributors.

Most Popular Post

Congratulations to @Omar, but did he write a great post, or did he just know exactly when to show up? After a long wait to start the season, the Blue Jays opened at home against the Athletics with a game that had everything: 16 strikeouts by Jays pitching, a solid debut from Kazuma Okamoto, a blown save, and a walk-off. Omar was ready with three words and a celebration GIF: “Game one win!!” Sometimes that’s all you need, and it earned Omar this Dave Stieb autographed baseball! And look at this autograph! It's, uh... unique?

Omar, please private message me (click on my name at top of post), and let me know your address so I can ship your prize!

Most Popular Post Runner-Up

Nothing brings Jays fans together quite like a win over the Yankees. After Toronto beat Gerrit Cole and New York in mid-August, @Terminator summed up the night in a quick highlight list: Aaron Boone got tossed, Cole had a meltdown and took the loss, and the Jays moved within a game of a playoff spot. What a start to the weekend indeed. Congratulations, Terminator, you win... well, nothing. Sorry about that.

Most Prolific Poster

We like to tip our hat to the poster who earned the most reputation points over the season, and this time around that poster was... @Omar again! That makes it a clean sweep of the forum awards for Omar this season. Thanks for being such an integral part of the Jays Centre community, Omar!

Most Popular Blog Entry

We didn’t have any blog entries qualify this time around, which means next season’s prize is wide open! Every Jays Centre member can start their own blog, and it will be read by thousands of fellow Blue Jays fans. Whether it’s a trade proposal, a deep dive on a prospect, a hot take on the bullpen, or your favorite memory from the 2026 season, you can learn how to create a blog here and browse what other members are writing in the blogs section.

Twice a year, we award prizes to the writers of our most popular blog entries, so the next one could be yours. Start writing this offseason, and you could be featured in our next Community Awards!

That’s all for the 2026 season, folks. Give a round of applause to everyone mentioned in this piece, and here’s to a big offseason and an even bigger 2027 for the Blue Jays!

I suspect that runner up Terminator would greatly appreciate a nice Swiss Chalet gift card for his massive contributions.

I think we should order Term a hot-ready rotisserie chicken from Loblaws.

I've always liked Omar, but if he's the only thing standing between me and an autographed Dave Stieb baseball, then I regretfully know what must be done.

I think this is an early contender for post of the year. Omar is the reining champion fully based on merit but he best keep his chin up!

I love Omar.  Huge contributor to this board, but I believe his popularity and reputation points are inflated because of the dancing Blue Jay gif he posts when the Jays win?  He gets huge upvotes from that, which I believe pumps his numbers in the system that's used to determine this...I mean everyone loves that gif - it's a board meme, but it's also a gimmick.

I could be wrong and I'm super sorry to have made this accusation if I am.

Mr. Big Shot aka Omar thinks he's hot stuff with his Dave Stieb autographed baseball.

"Oooh look at me I am the proud owner of a Davie Stieb autographed baseball. Aren't I so cool and awesome. Everyone is probably really jealous of me." -Omar (probably)

Glad we are finally calling this guy out for his BS

You and your autographed baseball can get bent buddy!

Does this thread count as the 2027 season?

Let's all like this Terminator post and make his post telling Omar to get bent the most popular post a year from now.

I bet you Omar was out celebrating last night at some expensive restaurant with his perfect wife and perfect kids while his perfect autographed Dave Stieb baseball sits on the mantle over his perfect fireplace in his perfect fu#$ing house. F#ckIng A$$hole.

Perhaps decades from now, I will gather the grandkids around the fireplace and point up to the mantle where the Dave Stieb baseball sits and I (with a twinkle in my eye) will regale them with tales from the 2026 season and how I routed the evil Terminator.  They will sit starry eyed with awe,  listening attentively as I relive that magnificent moment when  Blue Jays centre bent the knee and awarded me that trinket.  My own, my precious.

FFS - this post will probably win you a Roy Halladay signed baseball in the 2027 Award Ceremony.  You're just too good Omar.  Too good.

Sorry Term.  I already have a ball signed by Roy Halladay.  This time next year, Omar and I will be exchanging pictures of us, sitting by the fireplace, admiring our signed balls together.  You'll be sitting there hoping that someone sends you a Swiss Chalet gift card in the mail for all your hard work entertaining this board.  I'm sure it's coming Term - be patient.

What really sucks is that I used to have about 50 Dave Stieb autographed balls, gloves, and other memorabilia from when I used to run into him at his favorite dive bars back in the mid-to-late '80s.

Unfortunately, I traded it all for Eric Hinske rookie cards and memorabilia after his ROY season. I have never financially recovered from that.
