Jays Centre’s Community Awards: 2026 MLB Season

[Brock Beauchamp]

Hello again, Blue Jays fans! Twice a year, we sit down and find the most popular posts and blogs on Jays Centre, and their creators receive prizes for their contributions to this community. The 2026 season had no shortage of drama, from a nail-biting opener to a late-summer push for a playoff spot, and our community was there for every pitch. We look at the most popular posts and most popular blogs created by our amazing community contributors.

Most Popular Post

Congratulations to @Omar, but did he write a great post, or did he just know exactly when to show up? After a long wait to start the season, the Blue Jays opened at home against the Athletics with a game that had everything: 16 strikeouts by Jays pitching, a solid debut from Kazuma Okamoto, a blown save, and a walk-off. Omar was ready with three words and a celebration GIF: “Game one win!!” Sometimes that’s all you need, and it earned Omar this Dave Stieb autographed baseball! And look at this autograph! It's, uh... unique?

Omar, please private message me (click on my name at top of post), and let me know your address so I can ship your prize!

Most Popular Post Runner-Up

Nothing brings Jays fans together quite like a win over the Yankees. After Toronto beat Gerrit Cole and New York in mid-August, @Terminator summed up the night in a quick highlight list: Aaron Boone got tossed, Cole had a meltdown and took the loss, and the Jays moved within a game of a playoff spot. What a start to the weekend indeed. Congratulations, Terminator, you win... well, nothing. Sorry about that.

Most Prolific Poster

We like to tip our hat to the poster who earned the most reputation points over the season, and this time around that poster was... @Omar again! That makes it a clean sweep of the forum awards for Omar this season. Thanks for being such an integral part of the Jays Centre community, Omar!

Most Popular Blog Entry

We didn’t have any blog entries qualify this time around, which means next season’s prize is wide open! Every Jays Centre member can start their own blog, and it will be read by thousands of fellow Blue Jays fans. Whether it’s a trade proposal, a deep dive on a prospect, a hot take on the bullpen, or your favorite memory from the 2026 season, you can learn how to create a blog here and browse what other members are writing in the blogs section.

Twice a year, we award prizes to the writers of our most popular blog entries, so the next one could be yours. Start writing this offseason, and you could be featured in our next Community Awards!

That’s all for the 2026 season, folks. Give a round of applause to everyone mentioned in this piece, and here’s to a big offseason and an even bigger 2027 for the Blue Jays!

Omar's a boss!

I suspect that runner up Terminator would greatly appreciate a nice Swiss Chalet gift card for his massive contributions.

Kind of sad.
