This is fool's gold. The team still stinks, too little too late. Its not like we have a nice run differential or pythag record you can look at to inspire some confidence.

Yeah, the only thing you have to fall back on is what this team was able to do last year without Cease, Okamoto or Varland as the closer. Seems like a million years ago now though. All the main characters from last season just not getting it done.

I had to click on the Twitter link just to see the Jays in the standings (the screenshot cuts them off). That's how many teams are ahead of them. They are starting Gaus today, so clearly they are still hoping for a miracle, but yeah it's not a good team.
