Schneider hasn't really been able do much about our abysmal offence - a lot of this season is really on the players and not him, so I really try to be realistic about what he's to blame for and when to actually criticise him. However, his loyalty to absolutely godawful relievers is pretty indefensible at times. 

Unless we really are tanking the rest of the season, then there's no way he can justify Little pitching for us again.

I don't think I've ever seen a pitcher so bad be called upon so much.

He's terrible in the majors, he's terrible in the minors, and he keeps getting called up to the majors. 

Why not re-acquire Manoah and make him a starter. If we want to watch terrible pitching do terrible things at the major league level go get him. 

It's baseball terrorism at this point.

Everybody in the organization should be fired for that decision alone.

We have a better chance with Straw pitching.

What do you want him to find? What evidence is there that he has found anything?

He was always terrible, ALWAYS! The only difference is people were stupid enough to swing at his garbage at one point until they finally stopped swinging. You think they're suddenly going to start swinging at his garbage again?

The use of Little, taking so long to remove Hoffman from the closer role, refusing to remove Springer from leadoff, etc.

So many things the Manager could have done that were common sense to most.  I still dont pin the entire season on him but he did nothing to help it either.

This will be my last post trying to help you guys understand how baseball works.  Little still has great stuff.  Some of the best Stuff+ on the team.  Projection systems will suggest there's a possibility he can still be a solid RPer, which is why we didn't DFA him.  We have him under control until 2030 too. If he figures it out, he fills a current hole.

Will that happen?  Unlikely in my mind, but we see pitchers figure it out, seemingly out of nowhere all the time.  Why bring up Little? Maybe he's been better at AAA or has made some adjustments and they want to see how it goes.  Or maybe he's just a vet and they want someone to eat meaningless innings - maybe some of the other options are reaching inning limits.  Who knows. You know what?  It really doesn't matter.

Manoah was DFA'd because of how much he cost and how awful the Stuff+ was and how brutal the projection were.  Frankly, he's a terrible comparison to use.
