I don't know how you can blame Atkins for the offense when it was MLB's best offense for the final 6 months of last season including the post season, and the major change was essentially switching out Bichette for Okamoto.

The blame lies somewhere so you tell me what you think the team should be doing?

I simply responded saying I agree that JS shouldn't bare all of the blame as theres enough to go around.  Players, coaches, management all deserve blame for not meeting expectations for 3 out of the past 4 seasons.

I agree that there isn't any one person or group I'd blame for this team's offensive failures. The team just doesn't appear as well prepared to face the opposition starter this season so something appears to have gone awry in the game planning department. A lot of it is bad injury luck with Santander and Barger essentially missing the entire season due to injury and Kirk missing several months with the broken thumb. Add in a miserable season from Vlad, a really slow start from Springer and Varsho taking a bit of a step back at the plate and that largely explains the struggling offense. I do think there's a ton of potential internal improvement available to this group much as was the case from 2024 leading into 2025 if the likes of Barger, Kirk, Vlad and Santander are able to improve their offensive contributions. The team will need to add more bats in the offseason and there will be plenty of openings that need to be filled so hopefully the front office has another solid off season.

I really hope you spend the rest of the season spamming all threads with your belief that everyone in this organization is trash and should be fired - which I'm sure will continue throughout the offseason and beyond until each and every one of them are fired.  Then you'll just repeat the cycle with the next group.  It doesn't matter what anyone does, they will never meet your expectations.

Welcome to professional sports.  The objective of the game is to win it all and last I checked, this franchise hasnt won since 1993.

If guys like Nick Nurse/Masai can be fired after winning a damn championship in 2019 then you can bet your ass this management can be let go.  The fact you have such an attachment to them even when durijg times they produce mediocre results is the more concerning part lol

Since completing the rebuild in 2021 the Jays have the 7th most wins in MLB, 4 playoff appearances (despite being in the toughest division) and were up 3 games to 2 in a World Series.

That's not "mediocre".

20+ MLB teams wish they were that mediocre.

We've been thru this. I supported AA too. I think your expectations are far too high. I fully understand that teams have to move on from GMs and Managers at some point.  I'm actually perfectly fine if the Jays moved on from Atkins and Schneider.

But I also know the grass isn't always greener on the other side.  There are just so many factors into the teams success - and to climb through the playoffs to win a championship.  Such is outside of their control that I think it's unfair to hone in on the GM, managers and/or coaches as the reason for failure. IMO, the team has been very successful since 2020. This is one of the best runs in team history - yet you've been b*thing and complaining about everything to no end since they were hired.  It's nauseating.

To be honest - last year was even more fun since we got to witness you and your few brothers eat a massive slice or humble pie.

If we won the championship last year, would you still be calling to fire everyone after this awful season?

You think 1 run in Game 7 should make that much of a difference?
