Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted May 12 Posted May 12 It looks like our leverage arms to slip in a little vacation these days. Hit the beaches, grab a tan.

Open with Varland/Rogers/Hoffman. There is an off day Friday. All three should pitch today and tomorrow. Rather them 100% chance of pitching in a 0-0 game or 50% chance of pitching in a 6-0 game (not that high but you know what I mean). Terminator 1
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted May 12 Posted May 12 Rays have absolutely steam rolled the Jays this Season. This pitching matchup does not give me much confidence that isn’t going to continue. neverbeenhere and Stangstag 2

Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted May 12 Posted May 12 Must-win game with Corbin on the hill and Myles Straw batting 2nd with Lenyn Sosa hitting 5th. Jays win 4-2 Spanky__99 1

LHP this year. That's probably good for 4th best on the team, so my guess is he's wore out from jogging around the bases twice. It's a long way to go for people who haven't done it much this year.

One of his homers yesterday came against a lefty too. The Jays must have planned this lineup days ago and if the Blue Jays make a plan they will follow that plan without deviation for better or for worse and not even a two homer game can change the plan apparently. I think it's imperative the Popkins and co. assist the existing players in unlocking some power. Too damn much of the lineup has been slumping at the same time for essentially the entire season and until this starts to reverse this team will continue to struggle consistently scoring runs.

I know its not saying much, but isn't he 2nd on the team in home runs?
