They have no shot but fascinating nonetheless. jaysblue and Stangstag 2

They have a few junior college arms, and a Div 1, but yeah... household names like: Terrin Vavra (2B) – Former Baltimore Orioles infielder with MLB experience. (160 games, career OPS+ of 83) Marek Chlup (OF) – NPB minor leaguer and 2023 WBC breakout star with a .888 OPS. Martin Muzik (1B) – Team captain and former DII National Champion; hit a key home run in 2023. Martin Schneider (RHP) – Pitcher who threw 5.1 near-perfect innings in 2023 and is a veteran of the Czech Extraliga. jaysblue 1

Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted March 6 Author Posted March 6 Was a good game between Mexico and GB. Tight 1-1 game for most of it but the brits fell apart in the last couple innings.

Gotta love it. Yeah seriously, the atmosphere has been incredible so far, and it's just the beginning. Between this and what appears to be a very realistic scenario now (based on Manfred's comments) of MLB players being allowed to play in the 2028 Olympics, I think baseball has a real chance of growing over the next few years. Of course, perfect time for a lockout. hanton and Jays24 2
