Lets not forget about the OP, he did say you should be ridiculed...

Very likely.  Pirates have great pitching, just need bats and Griffin might already be the best in the org.

Calling it right now, Griffin NL ROY, McGonigle AL ROY.  The #1 and #2 ranked prospects.

🤔😅

I was going to say "To be fair, when is the last time the #1 and #2 ranked prospects won", then I decided to look into it and found it happened in 2023 with Gunnar and Corbin Caroll and 2018 with Shohei and Acuna

Either way, not really a bold prediction.

Its like saying you predict Shohei and Judge for MVP.

A real bold prediction would be something like Bubba Chandler Cy Young

I missed this, there's all kinds of guys that can win. I'd of thought Imai would be higher than Okamoto, there's Murakami, Wetherholdt, McGonigle and Griffin, Mclean, Chandler, Benge, Tolle, Jensen, etc...  off the top of my head. Should be cool.

There's a lot of guys close this year now looking back at it. 😎

Davis Schneider puts up a Reed Johnson 2006-esque 4.4 win season.

OBP of .410+ for the season.

Clemender? Snideluke? I'm not sure this works as well as Frank Johnsonalanotto.

Yeah I think he's second favourite in terms of Vegas odds. Yesavage is still favourite.

Brownie19 and Jays24 become best buddies.

They have been warming up to each other at least. Give it more time.

Here's one I have had in my head for a while.  Cal Raleigh hits less than 30 bombs this year.

Does he bounce back next season? Or is he toast?

I'd guess something close to his 120 wRC+ from the second half could be possible over a full season but the defensive decline is pretty concerning as well.

Catchers man... just unreal how the position is brutal on every one of them.

Makes you appreciate the ones who had more than a 10 year career a whole lot more and understand why they move legitimately elite power hitters off the position early.

Delgado is a prime example of that. Imagine how much shorter his career would have been as a catcher now knowing that he had chronic hip issues even as a 1b that ended up taking 2 or 3 years off at the end of his 30s.

Bryce Harper was drafted as a catcher but they smartly said "f*ck that" and moved him early and he never played a single inning as a catcher in the minors. Joey Votto was drafted as a catcher and even caught some games in Cinci's minor league system before they wised up and moved him to 3b/1b/OF. Craig Biggio of course another example.
