Brownie19 and Jays24 become best buddies.

And here I thought the Jimenez MVP and Boss Berrios predictions were too bold...

Berrios is an All-Star and will get Cy Young votes.

Barger hits 40 HR

Clement wins the batting title.

Hoffman only allows 3 HR all season.

Vlad=40+HR

Okamoto=80+RBI

Springer=2025

Little= end up to be Jays #1 closer

Ridiculous!  Not BOLD at all

The Yankees miss the playoffs as Cole struggles coming back from injury, Rodon takes longer than expected to come back, Trent Grisham reverts to being Trent Grisham and Judge spends time on the IL.

Vladdy will hit 55 home runs and eclipse Bautista's single season record for a Jay.

Bieber will pitch less than 50 innings this season.

The Boston Red Sox will win the AL East.

The Jays will secure a playoff berth by being the last wild card team.

Max Scherzer and John Schneider will throw hands.  John Schneider will be in the dugout for the next game sporting a black eye.

Andrés Giménez puts up a higher WAR this season than Bo Bichette.

Orioles rotation is an unmitigated disaster.

First one is probably too bold, last one not bold enough.

Okamoto wins rookie of the year and almost entirely replaces Bo's WAR.

Nathan Lukes hits over .300 with a .400+ OBP, taking over leadoff duties for Springer

Yeah I think he's second favourite in terms of Vegas odds. Yesavage is still favourite.

Vladdy wins the triple crown
Scherzer ends the season as the closer
Barger ends up as the full time 2nd baseman
The Yankees miss the playoffs
Tugboat makes starts for Cleveland in the playoffs
The Jays have no rookies (other than Okamoto) make their debut next year
The Jays get no hit by someone throwing less than 90 mph

I'm curious how you see this happening?

He's played 2nd, 3rd, and SS in the minors. It wouldn't take much of a drop from last year's poor offense by Gimenez for him to be basically unplayable (you could argue he already was last year). Ernie moves over to SS and someone has to fill 2nd. It's not completely crazy to think Barger could take the position and run with it.

Would he be above average defensively? Probably not, but as long as he isn't a butcher the bat will carry him. Will it happen? I doubt it, but that's not what this thread is about.

Vlad wins AL MVP

Barger and Varsho both hit 35 HRs

Little is our best RPer

Scherzer goes 13-2 with an ERA under 3.50

Someone in our bullpen appears in 90+ games

Hoffman gives up <4 HRs

Schneider leads the team in OBP and hits 25+ HRs

Okamoto has 110+ RBIs

I missed this, there's all kinds of guys that can win. I'd of thought Imai would be higher than Okamoto, there's Murakami, Wetherholdt, McGonigle and Griffin, Mclean, Chandler, Benge, Tolle, Jensen, etc...  off the top of my head. Should be cool.

There's a lot of guys close this year now looking back at it. 😎
