Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 3 Posted March 3 This should be a good tilt today against team Canada...
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 3 Posted March 3 Nice play by Caissie to take a knock away from Springer.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 3 Posted March 3 Canada needs to clean that D and BB's up real quick, or they're going home quick.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 3 Posted March 3 IT WAS 7-0, lol... Anyone see that fan come within a caught foot to blow his knee into oblivion.

Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted March 7 Posted March 7 No love for Max throwing 4 no hit innings against a decent lineup?

glory Old-Timey Member Posted March 7 Posted March 7 Scherzer was apparently touching 95-96 mph per Keegan. Spanky__99 1
Joltin Joe Verified Member Posted March 7 Posted March 7 I haven't watched much spring training this year. Jays have any rookies who are surprising? Good ones to watch stats for in minors?

Laika Community Moderator Posted March 8 Posted March 8 Scherzer is a bit more interesting to me after seeing how in shape his stuff was, and how built up he already is. It's not vintage Scherzer but it might be a tick better than we saw most of last year. Spanky__99 1
R.O. Verified Member Posted March 8 Posted March 8 Read an article on Sportsnet (forget who wrote it) putting together the Jays 26 man roster. Nothing too noteworthy except for the last spot. Lukes instead of a backup middle infielder. Says Leo can start in AAA and then come up when needed. Interestingly, they think Leo can clear waivers. IDK if the Jays need 6 outfielders, there probably isn't enough at-bats for all of them, unless Barger can play 2nd.

Barger can play 3B, Schneider can play 2B, Okamoto can play 1B and Clement can play SS. You still have a backup for every position covered, which is the most important part. If one of those guys get hurt then we'd need to call up a backup middle infielder.
